15/12/2025: We went to Al Porto again, but unfortunately this time, it wasn't good at all. We were with a group. The spaghetti allo scoglii wasn't to our taste; some of us still had stomach aches the next day, and the pizzas were already cold when they arrived. Staff members were constantly shouting from the back of the kitchen to the staff at the counter. The manager even handed an envelope to an employee, who counted the money in front of all the guests. The manager also shouted a few times in the dining room to the other employees about how good someone was at rating the restaurant. They didn't take the guests into consideration. They were mostly German vacationers, perhaps for this very reason. Unfortunately, I no longer recommend this place.
10/12/2025: I tried the Venetian-style fagato, which was delicious and very, very filling. Nice atmosphere, excellent location, fair prices.

29/12/2025: We sat inside the restaurant because of the time of year; there are also several tables facing the street. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely.
The service was friendly, perhaps a little too attentive.
We had spaghetti with seafood (very good), spaghetti with sea bass, bruschetta, and a mixed salad. A liter of wine and water came to about €80.
The price was perfectly fair!
11/10/2025: Very good food. Very nice and friendly service. We'd love to come back here again and can only warmly recommend it.

05/03/2026: I've been a waitress for years, and when a customer leaves THE WHOLE PLATE out of politeness, they wonder what was wrong. I ordered a sandwich, only took one bite, and then spat it out. Instead of asking why I left everything, the waiter asked me where I was from.

Location caratteristica nel centro storico.

27/04/2025: As soon as we were seated I had a bad feeling and I was right. It took a while for menus to be delivered to the table and when the waiter finally came over again, we tried to ask a question about the menu but he spoke over us and told us he was there to take out drinks order.
When we did order the waiter was looking elsewhere and totally distracted, so it shouldn’t have a surprise that the order was incorrect on arrival. The carbonara was vile, tasted of nothing but egg and the pasta was undercooked (not Al dente, undercooked). By the time Parmesan was offered we’d given up trying to eat it. The pizza that was ordered was ok (compared to the carbonara) but we’re sure the mushrooms were tinned.
When we paid, they initially gave us a bill for over -€330 (for three people - one drink and a main each) and it took a further three or four attempts to get it close to right.

01/10/2023: Ristorante e pizzeria in centro a Bardolino, ma allo stesso tempo molto tranquillo. Ottimi sia i primi che le pizze. Consiglio per una cena in famiglia. Personale sempre gentile e disponibile.
26/07/2023: Ausgezeichneter Service und Essen. Waren in den letzten Jahren bei jedem Besuch in Bardolino hier Essen. Gleiche Qualität und Service, immer ausgezeichnet.

14/10/2023: Pizza buona, impasto molto soffice e leggera, personale cortese e prezzi tutto sommato onesti. Bella soluzione per una pausa veloce
16/08/2023: Concludiamo le nostre giornate sul lago, spesso cenando in questa pizzeria d'asporto, che permette le consumazioni in loco, grazie ai tavoli posizionati all'esterno del locale, ed accessibili in sedia a rotelle perché non ci sono gradini. Si può consumare la pizza in tranci, anche se noi preferiamo quelle rotonde, che vengono servite su panari in legno. Personale gentile e disponibile. Tempi d'attesa brevissimi. Ottima qualità a giusto prezzo.
