19/08/2024: ....I stayed with my boyfriend at the Hotel Sole in Sottomarina during the Ferragostan week, and I must say that we had a very good time. When we arrived the room did not correspond to the one we had requested, but the following day it was immediately changed. with a larger room with sea view... very convenient beach and parking, very varied sweet and savory breakfast, I am gluten intolerant and they had a wide choice of biscuits, bread, biscuits... the guys who welcomed us in the restaurant room for breakfast very kind and prepared to fulfill our every wish...a special thanks to Giorgia, very kind and professional, her cappuccino was always delicious and well prepared...if I have to make a negative note, a little more cleanliness in the rooms...

24/07/2024: Excellent location near the sea. Silent. The owners are very kind. The only flaw is the air conditioning which turns off automatically in the middle of the night. Not good in this heat

22/06/2024: Located in a quiet area of ​​Sottomarina, there is the Nettuno hotel, welcoming, with nice and clean rooms. The manager with their collaborators are kind and very thoughtful people, The plentiful breakfast… Highly recommended

18/08/2024: Ho mangiato una pizza con i gamberi fritti unica! Impasto leggero, gustoso, e la ciliegina sulla torta sono stati i gamberi fritti. Non di meno gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare. Ogni estate che andiamo a Chioggia torniamo a mangiare in questo posto, ormai da tradizione.

14/08/2024: We went to this restaurant a few nights ago, our expectations were quite high but we were very disappointed. There were three of us and we ordered a plate of cicchetti to share as a starter because we were told that the waiting time for the first courses would be very long. 40 minutes pass without receiving anything, neither the cicchetti nor the bread, so we ask the waiter if he can at least bring us some bread to while away the wait, we are told that they have run out of it and that at most they can give us some breadsticks. Then the dishes ordered as the main course arrive but not even a sign of cicchetti. Among the dishes we ordered there was also a mussel soute but unlike the norm there was nothing to dip, not even the polenta which in the area is often included in this dish. We ask the waiter again if they can't bring us bread even with this food but the answer is very rude and we are told to stop asking him because he can't do anything about it; given that the restaurant is also a pizzeria we suggest having the pizza chef prepare a focaccia to make up for the lack of bread but the same guy tells us that the pizza chef is helping in the kitchen and can't do it unless we pay for it as a separate dish despite we were already paying the cover charge. Another lack was the absence of fresh sparkling water, which was quite inconceivable being the middle of August. The only positive note was the very kind, pretty and efficient brunette waitress. The food is absolutely okay and given the service I would not recommend this restaurant.

13/08/2024: For us, an excellent dinner and a super pleasant experience. We had dinner without reservation facing the canal; the atmosphere is really warm, all the details are very careful, from the tables to the chairs, from the three-tone light in the center of each table to the attention in leaving a small "bedside table" between the tables for customers' use complete with repellent for mosquitoes. The staff is sensationally kind, attentive, well dressed and professional, the food is really excellent and at the right price. Subjectively I don't like the QR code menu, I would have preferred something to browse through; the service is objectively a little slow, but the positive aspects of everything else make it more than bearable. 2 spaghetti with clams, 4 cicchetti and a few glasses of wine paid just under €70

10/08/2024: We came here based on the good reviews and were unfortunately disappointed. Pizza was ok, but not great in comparison. What doesn't work for me at all is canned mushrooms on pizza. It is actually a delivery service with a few tables on site. Pizza is cheap, but they charge €3 Coperto on site, which isn't on the menu and doesn't fit with the ambience. Too bad.
