La Trappola turned out to be a very pleasant surprise: a welcoming, warm place with that touch of authentic simplicity that makes you immediately feel at home. I set out with the best intentions, determined to try one of their first courses (which already made my mouth water when reading the menu), but then... the steak from the neighboring table made its triumphant entrance and captured all my attention. A moment later, my fork was already ready for betrayal. Excellent choice: tender, tasty meat, cooked to perfection. Even the beer, carefully selected, accompanied everything impeccably. The kind and smiling staff completed the experience. In a nutshell? If this is a trap… I don't want to escape anymore!

06/04/2025: Went for lunch on Sunday with friends. Price slightly above average and different portions based on the dish. The bigoli were right but the gnocchi with truffle and goose breast were very few as were the ravioli with asparagus. Portions aside, we ate well but the bill was a bit salty.

27/03/2025: After months abroad, the first evening in Italy, craving pasta. We go to the first restaurant near the hotel. We see it's a pizzeria, large, very popular, people seemed to like it, but do they also serve pasta? The menu as a QR code and only a smartphone for us. Scrolling, zooming, reading aloud, making a typo - we start all over again. It's not fun. Really, there are pasta dishes. We order mixed cold cuts to share as an appetizer and two pasta dishes as a first course. Bulk wine? There isn't one. The cold cuts arrive, we order a bottle of Merlot for €14. We had just started eating when the pasta arrived! Ok, let's stay friendly and eat the pasta first and then the ham. The pasta was good and was eaten, but the wine hasn't arrived yet. I ask the waiter if he forgot it. No, he says no but I don't think so. After 15 minutes I ask again: where's the wine? "I'll take a look" says the guy and after more than 10 minutes the bottle finally arrives, we eat the appetizer. The food was good, the waiters were fast, kind and attentive. It didn't work for us, we just didn't order what everyone else was ordering. However, I can't give 5 stars for our visit.
