10/06/2025: What a fantastic pizzeria! In my opinion, it is underrated. Sure, it is in the center of Giarre, not in New York, but lucky for us. In any case: the pizzas are very good, the draft beer is good, the staff is delightful, who bends over backwards for the customer. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend it; go there, you will not be disappointed.

26/05/2025: A ketogenic pizza that has nothing to envy to many "normal" pizzas that are eaten around, a keto coffee semifreddo also this, which is a marvel, and a friendly and helpful staff like few others nowadays... I will definitely be back!

23/05/2025: Disappointing experience in every way, except one. I went to Basilikò in Legnago with my colleagues and unfortunately the experience was decidedly negative. From the beginning, the waiting staff was rude and hasty, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. The order, although taken correctly, was completely wrong when it was served: wrong aperitifs, general inattention and no apologies. When I tried to point out the mistake by going to the counter, the bartender insisted in a haughty and rude tone that my spritz was made correctly, even though I also do this job and knew perfectly well that it wasn't. In the end she changed the drink, but with obvious annoyance. Added to all this is the fact that, even though the room was still full and we had booked in advance, at 9:40 pm we were told that the kitchen might no longer be able to serve food. Unprofessional and not at all customer-oriented behavior. The only person who (partially) saved the evening was the person I assume is the owner: kind, helpful, the only one with a minimum of attention to the customer. Unfortunately, however, the courtesy of just one person is not enough to compensate for the overall service, which was inadequate and unnerving. The food? Mediocre, with prices not justified by the quality. And even if it had been excellent, the treatment received would have made the experience not worthy of being repeated. Such poor room management completely ruins what could be a good place. The customer is not treated with condescension, and arrogance is never synonymous with professionalism. Absolutely not recommended.

26/05/2025: Pizzeria that I have known and frequented for more than 10 years; for a good pizza in front of a movie, in the company of friends and for various parties or parties. I have always found myself well with them for service and speed, and Damiano the owner is a good person always available and who works hard managing the place as if he were the captain of a ship with a well-managed crew. I recommend you try it as soon as possible. 🍕😋😉

05/02/2025: Locale bello, personale gentile, tempo di attesa un po' lungo, ma era di sabato sera per cui ci può stare. Abbiamo provato le pizze col cornicione ripieno e direi che non è stata una scelta indovinata : cottura non ottimale nella parte più spessa . Da riprovare con le pizze a metro che abbiamo visto sfilare e che sembravano cotte molto meglio.

20/05/2025: Orphaned by my beloved restaurant where I had lunch for ten years and which, alas, has closed its doors, I am looking for a valid alternative. Today it was Sale e Pepe's turn. A 5-star lunch, both in terms of service (courteous, friendly and FAST), and for the quality of the dishes (spectacular carbonara, see photo), to finish with the absolutely fair bill. Have I found "my" place? It's too early to say. In the meantime, Sale e Pepe is currently the BEST in the province of Caprino Veronese, including the islands. Well done!!

10/07/2025: The pizza arrived quickly and was well-made. Service was polite and fast. I considered the pizza to be only average; I've had much better. I just wouldn't consider boiled sausage as a topping. But the taste was still okay.

09/07/2025: Good restaurant, friendly service. We arrived promptly at 7 p.m., but at 8:30 p.m. there was a wait. The food was delicious, very plentiful, and delivered quickly. Good quality and very good value for money.

02/07/2025: Unfortunately, the service here completely ruined what could’ve been a great experience. Right at the entrance, we asked if we could sit outside — there were free tables and other guests already seated there — but were told no because it might rain (even though the sun was shining). Instead, they placed us inside next to a misting fan that was literally dripping water on us. Meanwhile, we watched other guests being seated outside. When we asked again, the staff reluctantly agreed but made it clear it was an inconvenience for them. We even had to carry all our things to the new table ourselves. The food and drinks were genuinely good, but the service was unprofessional for a place that positions itself as high-end. Plates were handed across the table instead of being served properly. One waiter even expected me to pass him my plate instead of walking over. When the bill came, it was handed to one of the women at the table, despite the men clearly asking for it — a small thing, but telling. We ordered seafood and spent quite a bit here, but the zero-effort service made us feel like we weren’t welcome. Definitely not coming back.

01/06/2025: Great place that offers a wide selection of pizzas, calzones, meat dishes and first courses. The staff is friendly, the prices are good. On weekends it is better to book.

19/05/2025: I love pizzaccia, thin, crunchy, excellently stuffed and never heavy! Sometimes the wait is a bit long (especially at lunch), but it's worth the wait 😋

Honest prices and generous portions complete the experience. Perfect for both a quick lunch and an informal dinner with friends or family. If you are in Caorle, it is a must-see.
