The sauce is incomparable... the best pizza I've had in Italy so far! Super crispy and served piping hot 👏
The place is small, but there's seating... and drinks are available too... including beer.
The shop is small, and you have to be careful not to pass by! I highly recommend it!
The one we had cost €2.50 a slice

07/11/2025: We wanted to eat here but the sign on the gate said they would reopen on 11/15. Wish the website had said that. We would not have waited so long to eat after our hiking today.
05/11/2025: An absolutely wonderful Italian family restaurant located in a tiny Town in the middle of Tuscany. Wonderful food prepared lovingly by all the family that owns the restaurant. Truly a local place.

15/10/2025: Very delicious meal. Great pastas and steaks.
12/10/2025: A small but welcoming place. The Etruscan rabbit was exceptional, and the beef was delicious. The side dishes were also delicious. The desserts were the final touch: exquisite tiramisu and a surprising hazelnut semifreddo. The waiter was very professional and helpful.

Ristorante Pizzeria Il Marrucheto

20/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated...we waited an hour and a half for a plate of penne with tomato sauce and a chicken breast...and the place was practically empty. As soon as we'd eaten our dish, we, like the other three diners, went to pay without even getting our coffee!
15/10/2025: Delicious pizza and friendly service! Our dog was even allowed to come along :)

09/05/2024: Advertised opening hours are up to 10pm, but in reality, they are at best whimsical. Nothing more annoying than planning your evening dining around a businesses published opening hours, that being that they open until 10pm, only to find that they are dependent on the proprietors decision to shut up shop at 9.20pm.
06/05/2024: This pizza is the real deal, just the way I like it. No tables or chairs. Not fast service...just a great slice that is made in a cast iron black pan ..not thick. Grab a Coke or beer from the cooler and head outside to sit on the church steps? A+
