19/05/2024: Popular and well-known nice place on the Pisan coast. Booked at 2130 inside we were seated outside because the table intended for us was still occupied. At 2230 we finally take possession of the booked table. Probably an unlucky evening for us: passable fish and chips and anchovies, insufficient first courses, overcooked and without flavour, a slice of fish sold for 25 euros but when we asked we were told that it was cod... Good and refined desserts. Wide choice of wines, practically all from 22 euros up, a lot up.

As for the dishes: I would recommend offering only home-made products in the appetizer, do not include abundant pickles to give body to the dish (pickles are fine at home) Ultimately between the first and second course it was not of good quality. Even though the dishes had not all been consumed, no one asked if the lunch had gone well, and I think this is of fundamental importance in a restaurateur.

La familiarità del luogo, la simpatia dei titolari e una cecina che non ha paragoni è quello che non ti puoi far mancare per una pausa di lavoro. E quando li trovi chiusi per turno, per malattia e per ferie, resti deluso.

06/10/2023: Il vaut mieux arriver tôt pour avoir de la place car la terrasse se remplie vite, de plus beaucoup d'habitués viennent chercher des pizzas ou des bières à emporter. Pizzas croustillantes et bonnes, accueil sympa du propriétaire.

23/05/2024: Tipica trattoria italiana, di quelle che si vedono nei film. Personale gentilissimo e attentissimo. I due titolari giovani e molto competenti. Si mangia benissimo... Pizza: la più buona mai assaggiata nella nostra vita. Piatti molto belli e buoni. Da visitare. Prezzi molto competitivi. Bravi bravi bravi!!!!

09/05/2024: Very slow. Vegetables came first luke warm, so sent back for warming. Bread placed on table so I asked for butter but non arrived. Three of us ordered Sea Bass which hadn’t been filleted so your mouth was full of fish bones. My friend ordered Lasagna, when it came it was a few layers of pasta with no meat between then not a nice meat sauce plonked on top. As an English woman I could teach them s thing or two about making Lasagne! She couldn’t finish it. Inside was clean but the lighting was bright and there was no atmosphere. Our hotel recommended it but give it a miss!

03/03/2024: This was the best pizza I have had in Italy so far. First off, no one speaks English, which is usually a good sign for good local cuisine, it’s very homey and you can tell it is local to the roots. I cannot speak higher of this pizza. For the price we were like “whatttt” to begin with and then after the food was respectfully bussin, there was no way I couldn’t not leave a review. I could not recommend this pizza more.

13/05/2024: Tourist trap restaurant, not expensive at all so don't expect very good quality or quantity. Nevertheless we ate well for what we took. We had 2 cocktails and the mixed board at 17€ which is very profitable, then a porcini mushroom risotto which was good and in good quantity. On the other hand, the salmon pizza at €12 was not incredible: more salad than salmon, very thin crust nothing more. All this for 54€ for 2 which is not very unusual for any restaurant. Fast service and very nice waitresses

13/05/2024: Servit au lance pierre, nous avons manger en 20 minutes entrée plat dessert. Les pâtes étaient fades, « l’escalope milanaise » était infâme, le dessert était une glace surgelée du carrefour. Je ne recommande pas du tout

07/05/2024: Andai in gita scolastica. Cibo a dir poco immangiabile e tavoli tutti ammassati. Camerieri molto scortesi e indifferenti. Non Consiglio a nessuno soprattutto a chi va in gita scolastica.
