20/08/2024: Doriano is now an institution in Avenza when it comes to pizza by the slice. Dozens of focaccias filled in a thousand ways and then the unmistakable Margherita, I recommend

18/07/2024: excellent pizzeria to slice and take away, open from 9 in the morning, possibility of eating on site as there is a small gazebo

08/08/2024: Chilling place, not to mention the rude and slow staff. With the oven exposed, the pizza chef, having burned himself with a baking tray, thought it best to swear in front of the customers, creating frost. We waited half an hour to get what we had requested (no problem regarding waiting times) as foreigners staying in the neighboring streets, even without a reservation and without any plausible explanation, have priority. We arrive home and the much desired "napoli" didn't have capers and was raw (even the children know that pizzas cook slower in the electric oven). An experience that we will certainly not replicate.

06/08/2024: Really rated too highly, which misled us. Small, thin and overcooked pizzas. Non-existent staff apart from the 2 pizza makers hidden behind piles of boxes. The room looks like an equipment depot (don't be fooled by the photos) In short, by far not the best pizzeria in the area

18/08/2024: There is nothing to say about the food, but a lot, negatively, about the service and environment.... One out of many, we were still at the table eating dessert and they raised the chairs and swept the floor....

03/07/2024: Nothing special pizzeria tugged away behind a small park in Carrara. The crust is thin and the dough was well baked but there was too much red sauce on the pizza and too little use of herbs and spices. The service was friendly but extremely slow. I’m not sure the regular staff was hosting since they seemed quite inexperienced despite their age. Not expensive though. We paid 34 euro’s including drinks for 4 persons. But I think they gave us a discount because of a mistake in the ordering.

24/08/2024: You will be waiting forever for someone to take your money. I won't recommend it because of the atmosphere, all tables at the shore are "reserved". If you are a group of two or alone, you have no chance of getting a good table
