19/05/2025: We found this little restaurant by chance, on the seafront in Livorno. It was a very lucky surprise! Excellent service, the waitresses were very kind and always available. The food was more than excellent, as was the quality/price ratio. We ordered a seafood tagliolini, with delicious squid ink! A mixed cold seafood appetizer, presented very well indeed. A spaghetti with seafood and a pan of fish EXQUISITE and super abundant, so much so that we took it home because we were so full! 5 star rating!!!!

12/06/2025: The management has changed, but the quality remains top notch. Unfortunately we waited a long time, but, to apologize, they offered us a stuffed piadina, which was very welcome. Excellent cake, low and crunchy pizza, well stuffed. Good ice cream and a powerful digestive to finish it all off. Keep going like this

04/05/2025: Very good pizza, fantastic bread, excellent "torta di ceci", and delicious homemade "mirto" All for a super fair price!!

10/06/2025: Excellent service, kind waiter/waitresses and the owner is very hospitable. The "Cacciucco del Molo" is very good, a unique dish, rich, just right, "10 and praise". The appetizers and dessert are also very good. Excellent quality/price ratio. I would say that the next time I return to Livorno I will already "book" for a second "Cacciucco del Molo"

09/06/2025: Courteous and attentive staff to customers despite the place being full they respected the customers' times. Truly exquisite grilled tuna, cooked to perfection, very tender together with the well-made grilled vegetables, it seems easy but it takes little to change the flavor of both, what to say about the mega CACCIUCCO, a delicious dish. Compliments to the person who took the order, a true master of the house, same thing to the girls who helped in the dining room, compliments. Recommended place for raw materials and average prices (good goods are paid for, otherwise there is the Mc)...

17/02/2025: I really liked it for the cozy place, for the excellent pizzas and for the wonderful chickpea pie (farinata). Very low prices so excellent!!!

02/06/2025: Pizzeria in a very touristy area, with ready-made and reheated pan pizza. Nothing exceptional, but if you don't feel like looking for anything else, it can be good for a quick snack. Average quality, slow service. More convenient than good, in short, better the kebab next door.

10/06/2025: Thanks to Google reviews. The food was phenomenal, and the host was very friendly and attentive. We would happily recommend this to any tourist. I was personally blown away by the fish platter. The antipasti itself was stunningly beautiful and very tasty. The wine was very reasonably priced and very light.

24/06/2025: I went to this restaurant with a friend for dinner after a day at the beach and already knowing the place after having been there once. The reservation is very convenient through their website, you will receive confirmation directly from them for the success of the operation. The place is wonderful, with this terrace overlooking the sea and the staff will try to seat you around to better admire the view. The menu includes some complete tastings, pizza and classic appetizers, first and second courses. You must also try their desserts. The food was delicious so much so that incredibly I did not feel sick even after eating the mussels, which I love, but which often around are not cooked or cleaned in a very orthodox way. The portions are not meager like in other restaurants, here you eat a lot! The only complaint I have to make, but just to be picky, is about the service. The waiters and waitresses were all extremely kind, but unfortunately at a certain time they disappeared from the radar and there was no way to attract their attention. The couple next to us worked hard for half an hour to order another portion of their excellent French fries and when the waitress arrived they were told that the kitchen was already closed at 10pm, while we were left for 20 minutes with the dessert menu in hand without anyone showing up to take our order. I'm pointing this out because it happened to us last time too. Unfortunately the place is huge to manage and on weekdays the staff is probably reduced, we didn't point it out at the time because it wasn't a big inconvenience for us, but I think of those who for one reason or another have a curfew, in that case go early because they take it easy, but go! As for the costs, they seemed standard for a restaurant of this type, not too different from last year. Highly recommended for a quiet dinner with a sea view!

02/06/2025: Antipasti buoni, degni di un “fatto in casa”; primi commercialissimi (e un po’salati): una decina di scelte tutti con l’opzione “spaghetti/pennette rigate/gnocchi”; una carbonara che a Budapest la fanno meglio. Fritto congelato e pesce da battaglia. Ma il pezzo forte è il servizio: in 4 abbiamo preso portate uniche differenti (due primi, un commensale un fritto ed un altro un pesce alla griglia) serviti tutti ad intervalli di 10/20 minuti. Solo alla cameriera peró (la signora con accento vagamente sardo) darei il premio maleducazione: molto sicura di sè-forse anche troppo- filospocchiosa ha dispensato una serie di battute che mi sarei risparmiato. Ad una cliente straniera con piccole barriere linguistiche del tavolo di fronte di tutti italiani ha fatto una battuta su un improvvisato cambio menu tale da farla quasi piangere. Il ragazzo in cassa è stato invece molto gentile ma un po’sfavato. Se l’accoglienza è un ingrediente fondamentale di un ristorante, allora credo che La Bitteghina sia tanto insipida.

29/05/2025: The restaurant is located near our second home because I live in the province of Rome, when we are in Livorno we try to go there, very welcoming environment, very kind staff, excellent food. The fish, seafood appetizers and especially the fried calamari and shrimp are delicious. Excellent quality / price, I recommend it.

01/06/2025: Very nice place, excellent food, the fish is fresh and well cooked. Always keep an eye on the dishes of the day, they are worth the visit. Fast, attentive and courteous service, never rude or invasive, the owner after paying offered us the "nutellino" made by his mother. Excellent prices, I recommend booking!

01/06/2025: Very nice place and friendly service, unfortunately the food was not up to par. We had 3 different first courses and all were not very tasty, small portions. The fried food was very greasy and therefore not very pleasant. Average price, but it would be more justified if the portions had been adequate.

03/06/2025: Quite a small place but DAMN the food is good, and it's also run by two very nice and kind guys. More visits could increase my rating (I've been there once but the cake rocks).
