Due Palme

15/06/2025: We discovered the Ristorante Due Palme in Santa Ninfa thanks to the advice of a friend, and we were really enthusiastic! Coming from Palermo, the recommended exit is Salemi; if you are coming from Mazara del Vallo, the one for Santa Ninfa is more convenient.
We arrived around 1pm on a Sunday in the middle of summer: the welcome was immediate, the kind staff sat us at a table perfect for two.
We started with a delicious and abundant mixed appetizer: breaded courgettes and aubergines, an aubergine roll, croquette, panella, pork arrosticini and a chicken leg. All well cooked and very tasty!
For the first course we shared a portion of busiate with tomato meat stew, a typical and really tasty dish.
The grand finale was the crema catalana: a marvel! The caramel crust, crunchy to perfection, broke under the spoon, leaving room for a velvety and fragrant cream.
Sincere compliments to the chef, the owners and all the staff for their passion and kindness.
We arrived here from Palermo almost by chance, but it was a great choice. I also recommend the restaurant for a summer trip or a weekend in the area. The restaurant is closed only on Wednesdays.
We will definitely be back!

Pizzeria Che Pizza!

01/06/2025: The pizzeria is near our house so it's the first pizzeria we think of to buy a pizza also because they are quite fast and have never made us wait like many other places.
29/05/2025: If you want to avoid tourist traps and eat a great pizza at a very fair price, this is the place to go. We arrived there super late, they welcomed us very well, made every effort to make communication flow, and in a few minutes we were taking a hot and delicious (and huge!) pizza home to eat. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it!

23/03/2025: Twice ordered pizza. Once I ordered and collected it myself, I ordered it by phone at 5pm for 8.30pm and I left with the pizza in hand at 9.45pm while those who arrived at the pizzeria if they ordered it at the time were served and it was absurd but they also left before those who had ordered by phone hours and hours before. Another time ordered pizza to be home at 9pm and at 10pm the pizza still didn't arrive. I had to make myself a plate of pasta, that's all. I don't recommend the service. The pizza is good.

22/06/2025: We had dinner at the Belvedere pizzeria in Scurati and the experience was very positive.
The pizzas are excellent, especially the Rianata, which reminded me of the flavors of the past. The other pizzas, with different flavors, were also well prepared and tasty.
The staff was kind and helpful, ready to respond to customer requests.
The wait was acceptable, considering the place was full.
If we really want to find a small point to improve, I would say the pizza menu: a little blurry and difficult to read, it would be a good idea to reprint it.
Average prices and a spectacular view: overall, a nice evening. Recommended!
