26/06/2026: We went here with a group of friends and had a great time! Two of us had the meat, a veal rib and a tagliata, and they were incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The others had pizzas, and they were truly special: the dough was incredibly light and well-risen, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh and top-quality. The place is spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back!

01/06/2026: We wanted to eat somewhere away from the tourist restaurants at Scala dei Turchi, so we drove to the next town and found this lovely restaurant. It's a popular spot for locals to eat. All the dishes were perfectly fine, and the service was very friendly. The prices are very reasonable!

21/05/2026: Really excellent value for money and friendly and welcoming staff. The proximity to the Scala dei Turchi offers them to a passing tourist like ours. But in the end we had a good time.

14/06/2026: My son has celiac disease and wasn't able to eat well because the staff wasn't very knowledgeable about it, even though they make gluten-free pizza. He asked for a few things and they couldn't accommodate him (stracchino instead of mozzarella and fries, which were fried in contaminated oil), and they didn't even have iced tea. Let's just say they could improve in many ways. I asked for a salt shaker, and instead of bringing it, the waiter came back saying the salt was already there. The gluten-free pizza was still good, and the dough was very soft. The service could definitely improve with a few tweaks, especially if you're trying to serve customers with health issues like celiacs. I don't think we'll be back.

01/05/2026: We had lunch in Racalmuto, the birthplace of Leonardo Sciascia and the birthplace of Gaetano Savatteri, where we took a bus trip on a beautiful Sunday in April. It's truly a rich town for tourism, because you'd never imagine a place with just 7,500 inhabitants has so much to tell and see. Lo Zenzero Restaurant was once a favorite haunt of actors and singers who performed at the beautiful Teatro Regina Margherita, just steps from the restaurant. Our assessment of the lunch was positive, and the owner, Mr. Andrea, and his young staff deserve encouragement, because those who stay in town and don't emigrate to find work elsewhere demonstrate courage and a desire to succeed despite the myriad difficulties faced by the people of this land... Thanks to Mr. Andrea, his wife who prepared the meal, and the girls who served us at the tables with kindness and great availability! Warm greetings from Alcamo!

The food is delicious and the quality of the ingredients is simply top-notch. We've also enjoyed a drink there; the atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Plus, the prices are really fair. If you're in Racalmuto and looking for truly great food and excellent service, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be ordering again! Grazie mille! 🍕🍷

03/06/2026: A truly disappointing experience. I ordered a single schiacciata at 8:30 PM on Tuesday. When I placed the order, I was informed that delivery would be at 10:00 PM. Although I already found an hour and a half wait for a single product excessive, I accepted without hesitation. At 10:10 PM, having still not received anything, I called for information and was told that the schiacciata was being prepared. I therefore assumed it would arrive within a few minutes. However, that wasn't the case. At 10:30 PM, we called back and were told, with what I found unprofessional behavior, that we had only waited half an hour. In reality, we had been waiting two hours from the time of ordering, not half an hour. There's a big difference. The delivery finally arrived at 11:00 PM, an hour after the agreed-upon time and two and a half hours after ordering. What bothered me most wasn't even the delay, but the lack of transparency: when I called at 10:10 PM, I was told the order was being prepared, but the schiacciata arrived piping hot at 11:00 PM, giving the impression it had been prepared just before delivery. No apology, no explanation, no courtesy for the inconvenience caused. Reading other reviews, I discovered that delivery delays seem to be a frequent problem. A delay can happen to anyone, but making a commitment to the customer and then breaking it without even an apology is unacceptable. When I was informed that the delivery would be at 10:00 PM, I planned my evening accordingly. I fully understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and I can easily accept a delay of 10 or even 20 minutes. What I find unacceptable is receiving the order an hour after the agreed-upon time, without any clear communication or even an apology. If you are unable to meet the indicated times, it would be much more correct to provide a realistic time from the beginning rather than leaving the customer waiting for two and a half hours.

24/04/2026: We had pizza and delicious wine with it, all at incredibly good prices. Opens at 7 pm. Very friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. By the way, they also have pizza picolo, which is smaller.

09/06/2026: Nothing to say about the food, everything was very good, we didn't get along well with the staff, we paid and as soon as we left there, looking at the receipt given the high price paid we noticed that the drinks were written X2 times

13/03/2026: Excellent kebab Limited drink selection...they don't have Coke Zero or even lemon wedges for the panelle, but the sandwich is delicious.
