01/11/2025: Towards the end of October, about twenty elderly former classmates, 58 years after our high school graduation exams as chemical engineers, gathered for a delightful convivial gathering at the L'Opera restaurant in Licata. A clean, bright, and welcoming family-run establishment, we ordered a seafood lunch. Elena, the beating heart of this small restaurant, was extraordinary in her hospitality and kindness. She welcomed her guests with a classic aperitif featuring an olive and a small triangle of Margherita pizza. Nine appetizers then gave free rein to the imagination, creativity, skill, and professionalism of the chef, who then delighted us with two simple yet remarkably flavorful and satisfying first courses: a rich seafood risotto and trofie with swordfish, shrimp, and eggplant. All washed down with a good local white wine. No bread, just pizza schiacciata with excellent olive oil and oregano. Then, sorbet, dessert, coffee, and amaro for everyone. The price? The perfect balance between quality and friendliness. We recommend it.

24/10/2025: Very pleasant welcome, attentive and helpful service. The risotto, sea bream fillets, and grilled squid were excellent. The wine, dessert, and after-dinner coffee were all perfect. A great place to revisit before leaving Licata.

27/07/2025: Superb pizza in Canicattì! 🍕 I've been to Me Gusta and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The dough is incredibly light and easy to digest, the toppings are fresh and excellent. The service is quick and friendly, and the place is clean and welcoming. If you're in the area and looking for authentic pizza, don't think twice! I'll definitely be back!

20/07/2025: I liked it, it was fairly cheap. The staff was friendly. The pizza was good, although I wasn't crazy about it. I prefer a more Neapolitan-style pizza. But it's a matter of personal taste.

24/09/2025: We were drawn to the world, and we don't regret it! The pizzas were delicious; they were the best we've eaten in Sicily. They were generously topped and really inexpensive. The dough was excellent, and every dish we saw was tempting! Plus, the young waiters were great! I definitely recommend them.

14/09/2025: A disappointment that hurts, especially when it comes to an institution like La Trizzera. The new management is slowly destroying a historic landmark for Agrigento. A real shame! Sincere praise goes to Mr. Diego and the wait staff, who with professionalism and courtesy tried in every way to apologize for the enormous delay. It's worth noting that many of those present were longtime customers who continue to frequent the restaurant only thanks to the trust placed in Mr. Diego, whom they knew and respected from the "old" and true Trizzera. But unfortunately, there are limits that not even good will can overcome. After waiting two hours without being served, we left without eating anything. The pizzeria is clearly not capable of handling over 400 covers in an acceptable time frame. In these cases, it would be more appropriate to limit entry rather than ruin the experience for everyone. Better to have fewer customers, but well served, than many and disappointed. The staff was visibly mortified. The management? Absent. In certain situations, we need to have the courage to stand up for ourselves, not pass the buck to those on the front lines. In time, I will give the new Trizzera a new chance, hoping that these suggestions will be heeded. Otherwise (unfortunately) I will have lost a point of reference.

09/09/2025: Overall, a terrible experience. The first courses were overcooked, flavorless, and late; the only good thing was the mussel soup. On a positive note, the waiters were there, especially Giulia, who was very kind and assisted us throughout the dinner. They pointed out several things we hadn't ordered without even apologizing for the incident. The owner (who was at the cash register) and (I presume) his wife immediately became annoyed with us because we wanted to split the bill Roman style. Not recommended.

11/10/2025: Ordering two takeout pizzas on a Saturday evening in the center of Sciacca meant I'd have to wait a long time outside the pizzeria, and I was prepared for it. Despite the long waiting list, the very kind lady at the counter and the pizza chef worked wonders, and after a quarter of an hour I was happily rushing home, accompanied by the aroma wafting from the boxes. The pizzas were truly delicious, well-cooked, with a soft and flavorful crust, rich in tomato and mozzarella. I hope to repeat the experience before the end of this Sicilian vacation, so I can cherish the memory of an excellent pizza until the next time.

03/09/2025: Delicious pasta. The pizza has a lot of ingredients, maybe a little too much cheese. The fruit is very good. I recommend the canolo—delicious! Service

21/09/2025: Food is tasty/good, but is not worth a 1hr 30+ wait after only ordering 2 margherita pizzas. It was a Saturday night, but over half the tables were not occupied. Ridiculous really. Felt sorry for the waiters as other tables were also visibly frustrated. If they couldn't accommodate us in a reasonable time, they shouldn't have accepted us or the other 2 frustrated tables. Edit: Updated food rating as it was too harsh

05/09/2025: We had a truly wonderful dinner. The meat was of the highest quality and served impeccably. Well done! Very well done!

27/08/2025: Five of us ate on the terrace near the statue in the square. The atmosphere was as you'd imagine, "bella vita" style. Only two tables were still free. We ate very, very well. Of all the meat dishes I've eaten in different countries, this was one of the best I've had, and for Sicily, it was the best so far. We had a large and small starter of fried potatoes with Parmigiano salsa, a mixed meat dish, a white pizza with four cheeses, a rib-eye steak, a vegetarian pizza, and a small Sicilian pizza, as well as five beers (three Moretti and two Stella Artois), a bottle of water, three Cokes, two cocktails, one Stretto coffee, and one Limoncello. It cost us €140, or €28 per person. If you're spending the evening in the center of old Racalmuto, I recommend this restaurant. The meat comes from their own butchery. It's an old-fashioned butchery where they choose the animals and cut them themselves. There's no pre-prepared meat, everything is done as needed, and the meat is always freshly prepared.

12/05/2025: Last night for the first time we wanted to try this place, what can I say is non-existent service, poor quality food, raw and salty chips, tasteless and almost raw kebab, not to mention the very high prices, below average sandwich shop

12/05/2025: For the second time I find in the bag out of three sandwiches purchased one that is not mine, my 5 year old son's sandwich is missing. I call and they apologize with an arrogant and sneering air, telling me that they will take care of it immediately. I called at 8.50pm after 3 more calls (they continue to make fun of me) the sandwich arrives at 10.15pm obviously I send it back because my wife had to cook, the child was hungry! Outrageous service zero empathy even in presence!!! 👋

11/06/2025: SUPER quality pizza! Ingredients at km 0 and all ORGANIC. Excellent and functional service. Highly recommended. I always gladly return.
