Bright, spacious, well-kept... a huge wall with bottles of wine set in it and some truly captivating chandeliers are the two strong pieces that make you fall in love. The portions are reasonable and in reality I didn't wake up hungry, nevertheless it feels like something is missing: the main part of the starter was practically just pizza while I didn't appreciate the first course very much, probably also because it arrived an hour after I ordered and by now I was no longer hungry, it still seemed too seasoned to me (but I would like to underline that I have this preference for "subtle" sauces, therefore a less than objective judgment) and the sausage didn't have a great flavour. Normal dessert. In short, the place is a jewel, highly recommended for anniversaries or special events; the food a little disappointing but absolutely not bad. I would say the prices are a little high but it is also true that I am a "tourist" and I am not yet familiar with the prices in the area.

21/11/2024: Vado spesso, a mangiare da Mario. Il locale è bellissimo e accogliente, si mangia da dio, provare per credere. Per chi apprezza la pizza e la cucina napoletana, a Monza e dintorni non esiste di meglio, Mario e lo staff sono eccellenti, gentili disponibili e molto di più. Oltre al cibo eccellente Il "Re Lazzarone" offre serate con musica di qualità. Stasera, giusto per fare un nome, c'era Gigi Cifarelli ed è stata una serata fantastica e dico poco a riguardo perchè le parole non rendono. Nessuno propone serate a questo livello da queste parti. Bisognerebbe andare in America. Grande Gigi e grande Mario che ci hanno portato a New Orleans.

13/08/2024: Consigliato da amici siamo andati alla pizzeria al Re Lazzarone. Tipica napoletana. Noi siamo andati per una pizzata dopo una suonata in sala prove. Nella attesa abbiamo visto viaggiare vassoi di fritti da paura. Quando sono arrivate le nostre pizze abbiamo subito valutato se erano veraci napoletane. Bel cornicione e consistenza della pasta leggera e leggermente elastica. Io ho preso una Napoli, con le alici ma gli altri si sono sbizzarriti con Calzoni, capricciose etc. Tutte molto buone. Il locale è moderno e ampio. Può capitare la serata con la Musica. Prezzo nella media

05/01/2025: Saturday 4 January. 4 of us ate pizza. Excellent! In detail: Balsamic, Toto and two anchovies. Top quality products. Desserts: I took the Sicilian cannoli. Particular and well thought out, having the filling at our disposal and chocolate and pistachios to complete the cannoli. Also worth trying with an à la carte menu. Congratulations highly recommended
