30/06/2024: I went to this pizzeria for the first time last night with some friends who had already been there. What can I say, perhaps the furniture deserves a refresh as well as the external sign, but other than that the pizza was excellent, really good. The service was excellent, very courteous staff, in particular the two young girls who took turns serving us, polite, friendly and very nice, which never hurts. I will definitely return there in the future.

Purtroppo però non c’è nemmeno una tovaglietta sul tavolo in legno rustico (solo un piccolo poggia posate) ed era anche appiccicoso. Davvero fastidioso! il titolare è stato arrogante e poco disponibile nei confronti di critiche che avrebbero potuto risultare utili per il suo locale. Amen! Non ci torneremo

Io ed il mio compagno andiamo spesso il sabato sera ed ogni volta usciamo dal ristorante soddisfatti e felici😃 Complimenti davvero 👏👏👏👏

21/11/2024: Vado spesso, a mangiare da Mario. Il locale è bellissimo e accogliente, si mangia da dio, provare per credere. Per chi apprezza la pizza e la cucina napoletana, a Monza e dintorni non esiste di meglio, Mario e lo staff sono eccellenti, gentili disponibili e molto di più. Oltre al cibo eccellente Il "Re Lazzarone" offre serate con musica di qualità. Stasera, giusto per fare un nome, c'era Gigi Cifarelli ed è stata una serata fantastica e dico poco a riguardo perchè le parole non rendono. Nessuno propone serate a questo livello da queste parti. Bisognerebbe andare in America. Grande Gigi e grande Mario che ci hanno portato a New Orleans.

13/08/2024: Consigliato da amici siamo andati alla pizzeria al Re Lazzarone. Tipica napoletana. Noi siamo andati per una pizzata dopo una suonata in sala prove. Nella attesa abbiamo visto viaggiare vassoi di fritti da paura. Quando sono arrivate le nostre pizze abbiamo subito valutato se erano veraci napoletane. Bel cornicione e consistenza della pasta leggera e leggermente elastica. Io ho preso una Napoli, con le alici ma gli altri si sono sbizzarriti con Calzoni, capricciose etc. Tutte molto buone. Il locale è moderno e ampio. Può capitare la serata con la Musica. Prezzo nella media

27/08/2024: Nothing to reply about the food. (Very good) But I must say that the place does very misleading advertising (regarding the fish auction) also using ticktoker as a "sponsor". After traveling many kilometers to get there and having a "different" dinner with different expectations, it was like having dinner in a simple, usual place. I invite you to specify the service you provide on your official website. Ps: if you have expectations about dinner in an innovative venue, I don't recommend it at all

17/12/2024: Mamma mia, this place is excellent! My wife and I just found this place while enjoying the Christmas lights and shopping of Monza. We didn't have a reservation, but they kindly managed to find us a table anyways. The atmosphere was wonderful, with a beautiful interior, interesting paintings in the walls done by a Portuguese artist, and neat architecture... Even the music was good! I had an appetizer and second plate, both from the chef's recommendations part of the menu which featured a lot of seasonal specialties: carciofi impanate e fritti (breaded and fried artichokes), and Bife de chorizo alla griglia con carciofi dorati. (New York strip steak of argentinian beef with golden artichokes), and finished with a yummy lava cake. The appetizer of lightly fried artichokes was light and tasty, and the steak was delicious! I ordered the steak rare, and it came perfectly cooked, seared perfectly and nice and pink inside. The flavor was great, and it was obviously high quality beef. The artichokes were absolutely delicious... If I wasn't already full, I would have asked for another entire plate full! As an American in Italy I find myself missing all of our good IPAs... So I was pleasantly surprised to find that they even had an artisanal IPA on tap, and that it was really good and well balanced!! The service was quick, the presentation of the food was beautiful and the staff was very polite and cheerful... the manager was funny and even offered us an excellent amaro before we left! All in all, it was a great experience and a wonderful end to our day out! I will definitely go back next time I am in Monza!
