21/01/2026: Family birthday dinner. Recommended by a trusted friend. Excellent food, generous portions. We ordered three pizzas, two first courses, and a mixed fried fish. Everything was excellent.
The staff was extremely kind, impeccable, helpful, and approachable. You felt like you were at home. Prices were average, and portions were generous.
22/10/2025: I come to this place sometimes, also because I don't live nearby. What draws me here is the food. The food is very good. The dishes are not prepared in advance, nor are there sauces or pre-cooked pasta. I usually eat pasta dishes with fish. They are very good, fresh and plentiful. If you think that like in other places, the dish will arrive within 10 minutes, that's not the case because it is fresh, everything is made to order. So I recommend checking the menu and calling ahead so that it is ready when you arrive. You won't be disappointed.

Obviously, the pizzas were excellent.

14/10/2025: The pizza was the best I have ever had! We got a surprise set of different pizzas.
I really enjoyed all of the combinations and it was really fun trying different pizzas instead of ordering my normal choices.
All of the ingredients were super fresh and delicious. I tried the house made wine and it was divine !
14/09/2025: I was there last night, the pizza and fries were delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful...EVERYTHING GOOD!! I go there every now and then and I'll be back.

31/08/2025: A terrible experience at this restaurant, if we dare call it that. There's little good to say... but there's truly so much to say about the negatives I experienced during my two-hour stay here.
Gluten-free products don't seem to exist for the waitress, who served us with disinterest and complete disinterest.
The platter served didn't match the description on the menu (the cheeses weren't even included!). To make matters worse, once we pointed out the omission, the waitress herself displayed her best behavior: indifference, apathy, nonchalance, detachment, and coldness.
In the absence of an alternative to bread to accompany the semi-platter I was—unwillingly—looking at, I politely requested a gluten-free focaccia made with the pizza dough offered by the restaurant (gluten-free, of course): to say the least, it was disgusting and tasteless.
I don't want to go into too much detail because I'd risk wasting my time on a business that needs to be freed as soon as possible from the incompetence of certain unprofessional and embarrassing individuals.
The lady at the cash register (who works in the kitchen) was kind, helpful, and smiling, unlike her colleague.
This constructive criticism is intended to motivate us to improve, evolve, and grow, not to discredit the work of those who work at this restaurant.

01/02/2026: Wonderful osteria in a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere. We had agnoli in brodo, a wood-fired pizza, and a side of asparagus. We'll be back!
08/09/2025: When it was time to pay, the lady at the cash register started adding up the amount on the calculator. When I asked for a receipt, the embarrassed lady changed the amount, saying the calculator had made a mistake. A terrible impression!

11/04/2025: Scelta a caso. Accolti con sorriso da una gentile ragazza che ci ha illustato le proposte di offerta. Abbiamo ordinato i gusti di nostro gradimento, la ragazza ci ha detto che ci avrebbe serviti al tavolino, quindi ci siamo seduti a un tavolino esterno: ben servito, pizza e bibite. Buona all'assaggio e ben saporita, la pizza, ce la siamo gustata con calma, un po'defilati dal fervore dei portici mantovani, assai affollati. Bene.Spesa equa.

ANTICA LOCANDA AI PORTICI

07/07/2025: Il locale si trova nel cuore del paese, arredato in modo elegante e curato nei dettagli. Il menù offre un’ampia scelta di piatti a base di pesce e pizze. Noi abbiamo deciso di gustare la pizza, e la nostra recensione si concentra proprio su questo piatto.
Abbiamo ordinato la pizza tirata Nemo, con vellutata di zucchine, bufala, zucchine e gamberi, completata da pomodorini (12 euro+3 euro tirata). Molto buona: la pasta, sottilissima, leggera e croccante, con condimento delicato di ottima qualità. La versione Romana con pomodoro, origano, mozzarella, acciughe, capperi, olive e l’aggiunta di salamino piccante era altrettanto gustosa, con un impasto tirato e buoni ingredienti (10 euro+ salamino 2 euro + 3 euro tirata).
Per concludere, abbiamo preso un sorbetto alla liquirizia, davvero delizioso.
Il servizio è stato rapido, il personale cortese e professionale.
I prezzi sono un po’ sopra la media, ma la qualità del cibo ne vale sicuramente la pena.
29/06/2025: E' il classico ristorante che si può trovare in questi piccoli comuni della Pianura Padana. Siamo a Gazzuolo a pochi chilometri da Mantova sulla strada che porta a Parma. Il ristorante si trova sulla via principale del paese, di fronte ai portici da cui prende il nome. Qualche tavolo praticamente in strada e soprattutto la classica sala da pranzo molto ampia con i tavoli in alcuni casi molto ravvicinati. Ovviamente la privacy risulta molto compromessa soprattutto nel fine settimana. Il menù è incentrato interamente su una cucina marinara, con un'interessate proposta di crudo freschissimo e qualche piatto del giorno fuori lista. Servizio da rivedere. L'attesa tra l'arrivo del menù (e quindi la scelta) e la presa della comanda ci è sembrato eccessivo...pane non portato al tavolo (richiesto più volte) e una proposta di vino al bicchiere discutibile nonostante un'eccellente carta dei vini. Conto in linea con la materia prima utilizzata anche se bisogna sempre tener presente che non siamo a Portofino.
