14/12/2024: The pizza was good, the nougat cake was good, I had dinner with a friend I had just met that same evening, a little place in the city center like an old tavern, crowded but there was no chaos, we had a good time, we didn't wait long for the pizza, we were intent to get to know us. At the beginning there was a small mix-up, our reservation didn't appear on a Friday evening, but no problem, the owner was able to find a table almost immediately, the service was fantastic. We'll be back.

14/12/2024: 2 km from the center of Mantua there is the pizzeria "La botte". For us, who come from Brescia, having never been here, it was a pleasant surprise to find this place and feel so comfortable. I think it's a family-run pizza restaurant, but I'm not sure. Damn, a really nice place. Small and intimate. The pizza has a low dough and overall very good. The staff very kind and helpful. We will certainly be back.

29/11/2024: Cold, wrong, rubbery, badly cooked pizza... what a shame. Ordered a tuna and onions, arrived home white, with caramelized onions, yellow dates and a bit of tuna thrown in at random, very little seasoning. I call them and they tell me it's like this on the menu, maybe let them know that you invented this pizza? Disgusted. You have lost quite a few customers.

09/11/2024: Le pizze più buone che abbia mai mangiato , per me la Wolverine è imbattibile . Ma il dolce di pizza con doppia cottura Nutella e cocco è una bomba . Non ho mai amato la pizza con la Nutella ma questa con doppia cottura è spettacolare . Consiglio di farci un salto e assaggiare queste meravigliose pizze . Sergio e sua moglie sono veramente due persone fantastiche , accoglienti e instancabili . Complimenti

30/08/2024: Very nice and romantic environment with beautiful house and awnings outside. Excellent dishes. Thin and well cooked pizza with good dough, very digestible and well seasoned and stuffed. The restaurant dishes are superb, first of all the risotto with porcini mushrooms in parmesan wafers and the marinated pike. But everything else does not disappoint, both meat and fish are excellent in raw materials and cooked very well. The desserts are varied and all delicious even if after an excellent dinner they may not be enjoyed but you are missing out on a lot. Friendly, friendly staff, fast service. Excellent organization and kindness. Parking nearby and large. Normal and honest prices. Reservation is mandatory. Highly recommended

Dozens and dozens of business lunches over the years and numerous dinners with friends and family, certain of finding refined cuisine, elegant but at the same time with the simplicity that recalls home. Massimo and Luigi are a discreet presence in the dining room but always attentive to the customer/friend!!!

26/08/2024: Abbiamo chiesto con locale semivuoto di aver 1 tavolo diverso da quello assegnato dove la veranda non fosse chiusa. Richiesta accolta con grande disappunto di 1 cameriera. Sono state prese le comande a 3 gruppi di clienti arrivati dopo di noi. Ci siamo alzati e mai più arrivederci. Peccato perché le pizze sembravano davvero invitanti

12/11/2024: I went to this place for dinner. The offer is really wide, from pizzas to first and second courses. I had the opportunity to taste a stria with balsamic vinegar and parmesan, really excellent and subtle. The cold cuts platter with crescentine was also excellent (even though the sliced ​​meat was very thick for my tastes, I recommend slicing it thinner). The first courses are highly recommended, the tortelli, the tagliolini a little less so. The meat was excellent. Overall a recommended experience. A note of demerit for the fact that at the checkout they do not make separate accounts, which by law in Italy must be possible.

12/11/2024: Evandro needs no introduction. Quality and friendliness are the strong points of this restaurant. I highly recommend the house risotto “Le valli”, delicious!

05/08/2024: I went several times both with friends and as a couple, the pizza is good but the last time they brought my partner a lukewarm pizza, I mentioned this to the waiter who in the end reheated it instead of "maybe" making a new pizza again . The result was having to eat a reheated pizza (I don't know if with a stove or something else). The fact is that one goes to a pizzeria to eat a nice, hot and crunchy pizza and certainly not "reheated". The bill was then paid in full at the cash register even though they found out about the incident and reported it. This criticism in the hope of being able to make a positive review in the future.

27/11/2024: Nice place also for a business lunch, various proposals from the single dish to the fixed price menu, attentive and friendly staff both to avoid prolonged waiting and to satisfy the customer. Speed ​​of service in particular of the "girl with glasses" who is really 'quick' - as my mother would say -. Even before eating I discovered that they are the only ones who package the cutlery correctly so that it can then be removed from the handle!! 😎
