14/12/2024: 2 km from the center of Mantua there is the pizzeria "La botte". For us, who come from Brescia, having never been here, it was a pleasant surprise to find this place and feel so comfortable. I think it's a family-run pizza restaurant, but I'm not sure. Damn, a really nice place. Small and intimate. The pizza has a low dough and overall very good. The staff very kind and helpful. We will certainly be back.

14/12/2024: The pizza was good, the nougat cake was good, I had dinner with a friend I had just met that same evening, a little place in the city center like an old tavern, crowded but there was no chaos, we had a good time, we didn't wait long for the pizza, we were intent to get to know us. At the beginning there was a small mix-up, our reservation didn't appear on a Friday evening, but no problem, the owner was able to find a table almost immediately, the service was fantastic. We'll be back.

29/11/2024: Cold, wrong, rubbery, badly cooked pizza... what a shame. Ordered a tuna and onions, arrived home white, with caramelized onions, yellow dates and a bit of tuna thrown in at random, very little seasoning. I call them and they tell me it's like this on the menu, maybe let them know that you invented this pizza? Disgusted. You have lost quite a few customers.

09/11/2024: Le pizze più buone che abbia mai mangiato , per me la Wolverine è imbattibile . Ma il dolce di pizza con doppia cottura Nutella e cocco è una bomba . Non ho mai amato la pizza con la Nutella ma questa con doppia cottura è spettacolare . Consiglio di farci un salto e assaggiare queste meravigliose pizze . Sergio e sua moglie sono veramente due persone fantastiche , accoglienti e instancabili . Complimenti

18/01/2025: Ristorante con arredamento elegante ma, come il menu, datato anni 80. Mangiato una grigliata di carne, di qualità sufficiente. Proposta vini deludente, limitata e di bassa qualità . Dolci confezionati, manca la produzione propria. Servizio allineato al contesto. Nel complesso un ristorante commerciale, un po anonimo.

Dozens and dozens of business lunches over the years and numerous dinners with friends and family, certain of finding refined cuisine, elegant but at the same time with the simplicity that recalls home. Massimo and Luigi are a discreet presence in the dining room but always attentive to the customer/friend!!!

13/01/2025: Clean and comfortable place, perhaps with improvable acoustics. I had lunch on a weekday so I was able to observe the presence of numerous people who were there for a working lunch. Service a little slow, but perhaps due to the numerous diners. Really good quality of food. At lunch there is no Pizzeria service. Parking available nearby.

29/12/2024: Terrible experience. My partner always orders and I always mean from them. Punctually there are errors in the pizzas they make. Ordered 4 pizzas, missing ingredients, lactose-free mozzarella on two of these due to serious intolerances, in one of these Taleggio was put so haphazardly. But above all the rudeness of the girls and the owner I believe. If you are not able to do the takeaway, don't do it. There is much better.

13/01/2025: The vast variety of doughs certainly immediately catches your eye, you would have to go every day to try them all. Large and very down to earth place, good service, the waiters are nice and the gentleman at the cash register welcomes you with a beautiful smile. Everything I tried was delicious and at great prices. Better to book on the weekend. I will definitely go back

12/11/2024: I went to this place for dinner. The offer is really wide, from pizzas to first and second courses. I had the opportunity to taste a stria with balsamic vinegar and parmesan, really excellent and subtle. The cold cuts platter with crescentine was also excellent (even though the sliced ​​meat was very thick for my tastes, I recommend slicing it thinner). The first courses are highly recommended, the tortelli, the tagliolini a little less so. The meat was excellent. Overall a recommended experience. A note of demerit for the fact that at the checkout they do not make separate accounts, which by law in Italy must be possible.

03/01/2025: Very good pizzas, especially the wholemeal dough and it is very digestible and... finally I find a place where they have a well-made takeaway menu with symbols for allergies and they also bring it home for us who are in the middle of the countryside with very bad and narrow streets it's not even easy to find our way, so the delivery guy who deserves praise he is also very kind and polite... all in all the prices are in line with the quality... at the moment we have only used takeaway... soon we will also try eating on site.
