25/12/2025: Christmas lunch with excellent food, they always come back for seconds of each course, excellent service, very kind waiters, wonderful lake view setting on the veranda.

08/12/2025: I ate baked tench with stuffing and polenta. The outside of the fish had a crust that gave the illusion of being well cooked, but unfortunately the inside was almost raw... I will never go back. Not recommended!

13/11/2025: Lunch without problems, food was average, overall, decent wines.

19/10/2025: The fried fish and tench with polenta are good, though a bit heavy. It's best to stick to the fish (we'd leave the Milanese cutlet to the kids, as it's not classifiable). Friendly and helpful service.

15/03/2026: Found it by chance and very happy about it. The atmosphere isn't exactly cozy, but the food and service make up for it. I highly recommend the stuffed tinca, the most famous fish in town. The pizza is also very good. We enjoyed everything.

11/03/2026: The menu is divided between pizzeria and kitchen, but the impression is that most customers prefer pizza. They all look good, although I recommend the peel. It's a thick, soft pizza designed for two people and served on a cutting board, already cut into pieces. On weekends, the place is a bit noisy because the ceiling is quite low. Overall, highly recommended.

11/01/2026: We stayed in Iseo for 3 relaxing days. It was a pleasure to discover this place, as simple as it is excellent in terms of cuisine. We ordered mixed fried appetizers for 10 euros and seafood risotto, which was excellent. We appreciated the warm welcome for our Golden Retriever. The parking lot isn't huge, but it's adequate.

19/01/2026: A truly awful experience at Il Bruco restaurant, especially due to the embarrassingly small portions. We were treated as if every gram of food were gold. A sandwich each, tiny, without any care or abundance, completely insufficient and disproportionate to the price. The Spritz was served in a glass only half-filled, including ice. We essentially paid for a glass of ice with a little liquid around it: a truly disheartening and disrespectful scene. The mixed grill was the icing on the cake: extremely expensive and shockingly small, with ridiculous portions that didn't even begin to justify the cost. This isn't gourmet cuisine, but pure frugality bordering on the ridiculous. As if that weren't enough, there were three of us, and none of our dishes arrived at the same time, forcing us to eat separately, with no attention paid to the service. In short: a place that's stingy to the point of excess, high prices, microscopic portions, and disorganized service. An experience to avoid. For three: four Aperols, one water, an octopus appetizer, one spaghetti with clams, and a mixed grill for one: €56 each.

14/01/2026: The veranda overlooking Iseo's lakefront is truly charming! I tried the Mari e Monti pizza and was thrilled. It's a truly gourmet pizza: the combination of seafood and land is perfectly balanced, and the high-quality ingredients are clearly evident. The dough is light and easy to digest, a sign of impeccable leavening. A taste experience I highly recommend to anyone looking for something above average.
