16/02/2024: we are regular customers, I have been coming to this pizzeria since I was little but unfortunately lately, in addition to having increased the prices, the service is no longer the same. today I ordered a kebab, and besides being tiny (the other times it was very substantial) they made us pay one euro more than we had to (my boyfriend, not knowing the place, paid the same). we are really disappointed, since we are fond of it I will give it another chance and if the poor service is reconfirmed they will lose a loyal customer for more than 10 years now.

31/12/2024: Ero titubante ad entrare perché ho letto varie recensioni negative, ma la maggior parte si lamentava di argomenti che non considero importanti, per cui ho provato. La mia impressione (abbiamo preso chi pizza e chi primo e secondo) è nettamente positiva. L'ambiente è piacevole e accogliente, l'arredamento ben curato, il servizio un po' lento, ma cortese e senza sbavature. Ho mangiato bene, prezzo più che ragionevole (siamo pur sempre nel cuore del cuore della città). Sono stato ben contento di esserci andato e ci tornerò, se capitasse l'occasione.

21/12/2024: Servizio pessimo, Mancanza di ogni qualsivoglia delicatezza nei confronti dei commensali, Dimenticanze continue, Piatti arrivati a singhiozzo, ed alcune richieste mai esaudite, tutto ció fino alla perdita d’appetito! Locale molto carino, unica nota positiva!

24/11/2024: Buon pranzo in questo locale - osteria con bellissima vista sul lago, piacevole anche in una giornata troppo fredda per stare fuori. Menù alla carta con pochi piatti ma altre offerte del giorno fuori carta che personalmente non ho scelto, ma mi parevano buone. Tagliata ottima con patate al forno e ottimo caffè (che non è per nulla scontato). Servizio veramente cortese, che mette il buon umore. Prezzi assolutamente nella media dei prezzi della zona, si può spendere la stessa cifra senza vista, sicché davvero nulla da criticare. Una nota di merito per essere aperti malgrado ovviamente il periodo non richiamo le folle, un servizio per chi ama il lago in autunno! E poi, finito di pranzare, si può riprendere la bellissima passeggiata che costeggia il lago da Toscolano a Maderno … spettacolare

24/10/2024: SALA VUOTA ALLE ORE 19, IL CAMERIERE CAPIVA E PARLAVA POCO ITALIANO. IL BICCHIERE DI VINO È STATO DIMENTICATO.BISOGNAVA MOSTRARGLIELO AL BANCONE.INVECE DEL DOLCFICANTE VOLEVA PORTARE IL DOLCE. IL CIBO ERA MOLTO BUONO E NON CI SI PUÒ LAMENTARE. NON È ADATTO PER UNA SERATA INTIMA. IL POSTO È MOLTO BUONO PER LA PIZZA DA ASPORTO E ALCUNE PERSONE SONO ARRIVATE A QUEST'ORA.

15/11/2024: Quiet place, good service, but mediocre food. Pizza tasteless and rubbery, the cheese is not mozzarella. The ice cream tasted like water

06/11/2024: A place where I have often eaten in the evening for the last 3 months now. We also organized a birthday party, always in the evening. I have never had this treatment (perhaps because it is empty in the evening), and I have ALWAYS brought the dog. I discover today that they are reluctant to accept dogs, which wouldn't be a problem if instead of whining, they answered questions. After an appropriate question as to whether the dog was bothering me, they relegated me to an empty room (so far no problem), only to then continue to mumble (not a small dog according to them) because there was something wrong with the dog. I preferred to go out so as not to cause damage to the place which is obviously full at lunch. I would say I won't go back there again, certainly for lunch, much less in the evening. Education first of all and if there is no place for the dog be clear from the second one.

22/07/2024: Perhaps the quality of the Don Basilico chain varies depending on the stores and with the one in Viale Bovio we are not quite there. I order a delivery on Monday and they offer it to me after an hour.... a lukewarm pizza arrives, with stingy seasoning, very little mozzarella, a little dried rocket and cherry tomatoes cut on top, with plenty of oregano, a TINY pizza! I will never order from them again even though they are the closest ones, terrible experience!!!

01/09/2024: Absolute nonsense what you read here. Food was great. Pizza was great. I understand the displeasure about the drinks, but you should probably just ask.

01/09/2024: The staff welcomed us very nicely. The location is really good but the prices are extremely high and the portions are quite small (for adults). Don’t order a large drink because you get a full bottle of it filled in a big glass but you pay as much as buying like 12 bottles of it in a shop.

04/10/2024: Hot meals at good prices, or even just for a coffee and dessert. Convenient location and not too crowded at certain times. Kind and polite staff.

01/01/2025: If you are looking for a dirty, unhygienic place and above all with rude staff then I recommend this place. We arrive at the entrance at 11.55am to ask if we needed a reservation (January 1, 2025). At the entrance I find this waiter who replies that they open at 12:00 and that they were still cleaning. By cleaning he meant sweeping with a broom all the dust outside that settled on the tables where people have to eat. We return to the restaurant at 12.15pm and take our seats. Unwatchable glass, saying filthy is a compliment. Behind us there was a couple who didn't speak Italian but only English. With great professionalism the waiter (if you can call him that) exclaims the exact words: "But they didn't celebrate yesterday because they're already here at 12 to piss off". We, shocked, turned to the waiter saying that if we were a nuisance we would leave. This waiter replies with a very arrogant air "For me you can leave, there's no problem, we're tired". At that point, scandalized by how they treat customers, we get up and leave and he exclaims "Well we're still cleaning" (We remember that we had asked before what time they opened). Kicking out customers, insulting customers who don't understand Italian so in plain sight is the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen in my life. A good communication course would be good :) Two steps further on we ate in a restaurant where the welcome, cleanliness and good food were perfect. P.s. Other customers left for the same reason as us.

30/11/2024: Burnt cornice, delivered late several times, without the requested ingredients. Sour ricotta, truly inedible. We were customers but will never call her again, I don't recommend to anyone. Furthermore, the extremely rude lady on the phone treats long-time regular customers with arrogance and superficiality. DO NOT ORDER, YOU SHOULD CLOSE. SHAME ON YOU
