Ristorante Pizzeria il Campeggio

15/02/2026: Lunch with family and friends on Sunday, February 8th, attracted by the old reviews and unaware of the change of management that occurred a few months ago.
A spartan place, with friendly and helpful service, but that's about where most of the positives end.
Out of ten:
Cold appetizer: 5
Mussels and clams: 2 (the mussels were awful even to look at)
Octopus in tomato sauce: 6.5
Spaghetti with clams: 4
Fish risotto: 1 (the rice was overcooked, probably due to the poor quality of the rice; the little fish was awful. I mentioned this to the waiter, but he didn't offer a re-do or an alternative, such as not charging me: a huge flaw.)
Grilled fish: 3 (the mackerel was very tough and stringy; I almost forgot about the rest because my stomach was starting to feel uncomfortable. Maybe I wasn't feeling great, but the food certainly didn't help.)
Razor clams au gratin: 4 (raw)
Wine: 6.5 (I don't remember which bottle we ordered).
A friend who was with us, and who eats absolutely anything, finished the whole thing without any digestive issues. He did, however, agree that the food quality was poor; he was simply hungry, but he still satisfied his appetite.
My friend's wife, like me, had stomach upset, and the others at the table, including the children, ate very little because they didn't like the food.
I hope the restaurant improves, because the staff is committed, but it takes much more to cook fish well. Until then, I won't be returning.

04/06/2025: Buonissima pizza e bello il fatto che si può ordinare anche con vari impasti, kamut, carbone, integrale ecc. Consiglio di prenotare perché è sempre pieno e non è grandissimo. Vale la pena
26/02/2025: L'impasto della pizza è molto buono, la farcitura lascia a desiderare, non per il fatto che sia scarsa, quanto di poco sapore.
Non fanno conti separati, perciò anche se si è in 4, bisogna per forza dividere il conto alla romana, e la ragazza che sta alla cassa, probabilmente la proprietaria, mi tratta sempre con aria di sufficienza, come se mi facesse un favore a farmi mangiare in quella pizzeria. Non si può stare al pubblico con quell'espressione così ostica, a muso lungo e senza sorriso. Cordialità zero.
La signora bionda, la cameriera per intenderci, e i pizzaioli sono sempre stati gentili, o per lo meno, si sono mostrati cordiali come da norma.
Sono stata diverse volte in questo posto, nel corso di un paio d'anni, e posso dire di aver pesato ogni parola prima di scrivere la recensione.

31/07/2024: Sinceramente è una chicca da scoprire, uno di quei locali che quando non zi saranno più sarà un male per tutti. Semplice ed economizo. Atmosfera bellissima w mimmo!
04/07/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena io e il mio ragazzo dal momento che è l unico che abbiamo trovato aperto in paese durante la via degli dei. Il sevizio veloce ma scandente. Il cibo di bassa qualità, tranne per la pizza che era molto buono. Sicuramente non torneremo ma per quello che abbiamo speso non potevamo chiedere di più.
