15/10/2025: Great location and atmosphere. Unfortunately, one of the waiters was so arrogant that the restaurant suffers greatly. It's a shame because the food wasn't bad. Unfortunately, we definitely won't be returning.

22/11/2025: Lovely experience, tasty food, great quick service. The waiters were super attentive. We had the caprese salad, mushroom risotto, carbonara and tiramisu & the homemade limoncello is delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
17/11/2025: Updated: husband was very sick in the night after eating here, avoid
€26 for grilled chicken and chips was a rip off. Should have read previous reviews before eating here. The fact there was available tables should have been a red flag!
However staff were very friendly and efficient.
Plus food arrived within 5 mins of ordering, how is thatfl fresh!

31/10/2025: Came here 2 nights out of 3 in town as Carprese salad was best ive had. Calamari was top notch and both pasta dishes fantastic. The tagliolini was home made noodles.

14/10/2025: Authentic, non-touristified, Italian family restaurant. A true hole in the wall and one of our favorite places to eat in Sorrento, both in 2018 and 2025. If you’re expecting a modern atmosphere and service then it may not be for you, but the food (particularly the calzone and bolognese we got) is some of the best we’ve ever had. Will certainly be going back if we’re ever in Sorrento again, might even go back this trip

24/01/2026: I came despite the low rating. The service was pleasant, the pizza was delicious, and the prices were also quite reasonable. The beer was a bit watered down, but overall I liked everything. Maybe people gave low ratings just encountered less-than-friendly staff (they were nice on my visit). The wine list is also impressive; I think wine connoisseurs will appreciate it.

09/11/2025: absolutely horrendous!! we were looking for a place to eat and the friendly staff welcomed us inside, we looked at the menu and after 3 minutes of not finding anything we wanted, we decided to try our luck somewhere else. we politely told our waiter thank you, that we couldn’t find anything we liked and started heading out. to our surprise the manager suddenly told us we have to pay 2.5€ per person for just sitting there for three minutes! our table wasn’t even set yet, glasses plates and utensils still weren’t on our table! he got so mad that he even broke a glass that he was holding! we started fearing for our safety and decided to take the loss and pay. the atmosphere is horrible! terrible management!! never been treated with such disrespect!
17/10/2025: Warning! Rip-off!!! Please stay far away from this place. The food is overpriced, not fresh, the portions are tiny, and the service is disgusting. Don't order a large beer—you'll get a liter for €15! We got a €100 bill for two people—it wasn't worth it. You'll leave the restaurant with a bitter taste in your mouth, hungry, and in a bad mood :(

13/04/2025: Vino un par de veces justo cuando estábamos paseando por Sorrento. Los precios están muy bien y no tenía un problema con lo que teníamos. Se nota que es un lugar turístico y el personal puede ser bastante hosco. Tenía ensalada de atún que era agradable, pan de ajo agradable y también tenía panini que era una porción decente. Volveríamos ya que personalmente no tenía problemas con la comida.

No locals and very misleading reviews. The pizza was mediocre- not neopolitan
Or Roman and very bland. Crust and sauce were sub par.
Gnocchi Sorentina
Was fine and the eggplant Parmesan was very greasy - possibly jarred eggplant smothered in cheese/oil. The limoncello spritz was also not drinkable. My review would have been more favorable had the service been slightly good- it was not. Do not fall for the good reviews here- try somewhere else in Sorrento.

15/08/2024: Inizialmente si chiamava Antico Frantoio, poi Vino vero, poi di nuovo Antico Frantoio, oggi sembri che continui a chiamarsi Antico Frantoio pur avendo cambiato gestione a fine 2023, dei sapori antichi purtroppo non c’è più nulla. Personale gentilissimo, qualità scarsa, prezzi nella media, ma eccessivi in relazione al prodotto offerto.

24/05/2024: Tropieza con esta joya de un restaurante en las colinas sobre Sorrento. Fabulosas vistas a ambos lados de la península.
El menú es variado y extremadamente razonable. Cursos tradicionales que se ofrecen, incluyendo pizza si es necesario. El Calzone es el más grande que he visto. Los entrantes de mozzarella son extremadamente frescos. La parrilla mixta era sublime y el Tiramisu el mejor que hemos tenido en Italia.
El propietario y su familia eran muy acogedores y pasaron tiempo contándonos sobre el origen de sus ingredientes y estilos de cocina
Solo vinimos aquí por casualidad, luego regresamos 3 noches corriendo. Así de bueno. Si estás en las colinas sobre Sorrento, no te conformes con un servicio mediocre y comida muy cara en Sorrento, prueba esta pequeña joya. No te decepcionarás.
