06/04/2024: Skip it. Quality was poor and service was worse. House wine was not drinkable. And make sure to triple check your bill.

30/03/2024: Decent restaurant. The 190-page wine list is impressive. As a welcome, we were poured a wonderful Prosecco. We tried the 5-course fish menu and dessert and were very satisfied and full. Thank you 👍🏻❤️

07/11/2023: Amazing food, perfect service and large selection of wines. One of the best places to eat in Sorrento! The staff is very kind and polite.
02/11/2023: This place is truly stunning. I spent my birthday here and they were very accommodating in that we were able to book on the day for the evening. The food is reminiscent of Italian food from years gone by, which is very comforting. It's not the place for modern gastronomy but the place for gorgeous comforting Italian classics. The zucchini flowers and the truffle pasta were two favourites from our meal there. The atmosphere of the rooftop garden is the absolute selling point of the restaurant. Perfect for a romantic evening.

24/03/2024: Worst experience of Italy!! Make yourself a favor and don't spend your money here! Here's why... We asked 2 cappuccinos (already knowing the over rated price of 4.5€ each) but we asked with soy milk instead of normal milk... They charged 16€ (7€ extra) claiming that 1lt of soy milk was 10€ (the picture was taken in a supermarket 100mt away from the restaurant) and that it would expire quick (which is also not true and really not my business). After i told them that the price was ridiculous, the server/waitress called me stupid... What else to say.. It was the first time in all my trips and experiences that i left a restaurant without paying due to the lack of respect.
20/03/2024: Waitress should not work near people. She is awful. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

15/01/2024: I ordered wine from their shop to be sent to the US credit card charged month ago but still no wine. Have asked for tracking number but nothing. Hope credit card company gets me my money back.
08/10/2023: Really small portions and not good value for money. Tasted fine but would not revisit.There are too many other restaurants in the area so go somewhere else.

31/03/2024: While we were waiting for our food (1+ hour) we read the reviews here and got a little scared.
The waiting time was explained by the fact that a larger group came into the restaurant shortly before us. However, a couple came about 20 minutes after us and received their pizzas straight after 15 minutes and we had to wait another 20+ minutes.
The pizza was definitely ok, but we've had better on our trip. You don't need to order the canelloni if you're really hungry, or it's best to order two portions. The sidecar salad for €5 was tiny.
In any case, we didn't have any bad experiences and it felt like we had traveled back in time a few years. The two women tried very hard.

17/03/2024: Almost €8 for a small beer, I haven't even seen these prices in New York.
16/03/2024: We have never had such a bad risotto. Rice was solid and everything was bland, with the risotto with Parma ham you just put 2 slices on top :-(. Really miserable and totally overpriced. We've never had €5 coperto per person in Italy either.

22/09/2023: Io che amo le Osterie di una volta: tovaglie a quadri, con i tovaglioli coordinati, piatti di ceramica candida e il liquore a fine pasto servito in bottiglie di fortuna e lasciato sul tavolo nella speranza che il consumatore sia morigerato...qui regnano solo l'ombra e gli arredi, i gingilli, le vetrinette, le bomboniere e i fiori di plastica...
Gli antipasti, il secondo di pesce ed i contorni serviti hanno perso l'anima e sono lontanissimi dalla qualità e quantità dei tempi che furono.
Facit: Tornate al vero passato o passate al "fresco" attuale.
04/08/2023: opzich lekker gegeten. helaas toen we naar een wijnkaart vroegen bleek die niet aanwezig maar werd ons wel een wijn aangeraden. bij het betalen bleek die fles duurder dan beide hoofdgerechten bij elkaar. voelt toch als opgelicht worden.
weer wat geleerd.
