29/09/2025: My husband & I just returned from our wedding at Villa Antiche Mura and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. From the moment I began working with Michele & Claudia to plan, they were kind, responsive and helpful. They made the process so easy for me and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. The wedding itself was absolutely beautiful. They made us feel prioritized and at ease in what I thought would be a very stressful week. The wedding set up was exactly what I expected when I walked down the aisle, and our reception dinner was gorgeous. All of our guests were blown away by the views and the food. Thank you to the entire team there for making our day perfect!
12/05/2025: We recently had our wedding reception at Villa Antiche Mura, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The venue exceeded our expectations in every way, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to get married or host an event in Sorrento.
Planning a wedding from England without a planner could have been daunting, but thanks to Michele and Claudia, the entire process was incredibly easy, smooth, and enjoyable. Their communication was 10/10—prompt, efficient, and attentive to the finest details of my requests. Michele was particularly patient as I navigated countless questions and requests when meeting him at the Villa in the days leading up to the wedding. His understanding and support alleviated any stress and reassured me that our day would be perfect, and it truly was!
On the wedding day, Michele went above and beyond by arriving at the ceremony venue to assist with my dress preparation and help my bridal party. When my veil got stuck while walking down the aisle, he was right there, saving the day!
The Villa itself is breathtaking, and our guests were blown away by the fabulous views. Many of them told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, a testament not only to the villa's beauty but also to the incredible team that makes it all possible.
When my husband and I arrived at the villa, Michele greeted us with a refreshing glass of water—such a thoughtful gesture that showed his experience in handling weddings, especially in the heat. The decorations were set up perfectly, addressing my previous concerns as I personally transported all the decor from the UK. Every detail was executed flawlessly, even better than I could have achieved myself.
We also booked the food through the Villa, and it was hands down the best we’ve ever tasted! As frequent diners at fine restaurants, we can confidently say the food at Villa Antiche Mura topped them all. The catering team even accommodated last-minute dietary requests from some of our guests without any fuss.
The entertainment was phenomenal as well! We booked a band, a violinist, and a saxophonist through the villa, and they were incredibly talented. Our guests were thoroughly entertained throughout the entire day and evening, with many enjoying themselves so much that nobody left early!
The entire team, especially Michele and Claudia, ensured that everything ran like clockwork. They thought of the little touches that made our day even more special, creating a seamless experience for us.
Thank you so much to everyone at Villa Antiche Mura for your hard work and dedication in making our dream wedding come true! If you are considering a wedding venue, look no further—you will not be disappointed!

07/10/2025: We came here as a family to eat. I was initially convinced by the quality of the food. The pizza was good, but the pasta was too salty and quite expensive for what we got. Unfortunately, we had to return most of it, which was disappointing.
05/10/2025: We were a large group (12 people), but we received fantastic service. The waitress was very friendly, always smiling, and managed to keep the entire group of guys in check. We ordered a variety of things, and everything was delicious. The place was lovely, set in a tent in the garden. Highly recommended.

There are plenty of comfortable seating options, and the service takes guests' wishes seriously, as do the waiters, who were very friendly.
06/10/2025: Excellent food, with a special gluten-free menu and a truly delicious flavor. Just look at the gnocchi.

02/10/2025: Absolutely delicious lemon sorbet. The lemon flavour was so intense, i loved it. Was worth the 8 euro 12 euro if you want to dine in. Lots of other meal and drink choices too.
30/09/2025: I ordered a takeout sandwich. The description said mozzarella and Parma, but the photo showed tomato and basil. I took a bite. I got it with just ham. I went back, showed it to him, and they debated. The waiter took the roll away, then returned. I got the same bitten roll, with mozzarella. Still no tomato or basil. 13 euros.

25/07/2025: It's a lively restaurant with good customer service, and the food is tasty and well-prepared, but not outstanding.
There's a cute dog wandering around the dining room, but some people might find it uncomfortable.
Considering the service charge (€2 per person), I find the overall price a bit high. They could at least include bread in that price.

08/10/2025: We ordered 3 pizzas and 1 gnocchi dish. All of it was really great however we prefer the thin pizzas weve had around italy. This one had a slightly thicker base. However taste was good. The pasta dish was amazing . Toilets where clean and usable. Atmosphere was brill as it was calm and not busy when we went . They played queen music which was great touch . The staff were friendly and accomadating.
03/10/2025: I ate well but they demanded a tip. They got serious because I gave them too little. Sorrento restaurants, wake up.

Or Roman and very bland. Crust and sauce were sub par.

Was fine and the eggplant Parmesan was very greasy - possibly jarred eggplant smothered in cheese/oil. The limoncello spritz was also not drinkable. My review would have been more favorable had the service been slightly good- it was not. Do not fall for the good reviews here- try somewhere else in Sorrento.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative.
Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

19/09/2025: We shared an octopus salad, and then I ordered cream cheese, which arrived frozen, but even that didn't ruin our meal. The waiter was very friendly and explained what each fruit was.

Just ate here again and different experience. Ordered t-bone steak again and we suggested 800 grams. Waiter said larger would be better so we said less than 1kg. We had to force ourselves to finish the meat and we didn't feel that great. The bill showed that the weight was way over 1kg. Nearer 1.5kg.
Dined here twice. Good quality food well prepared. Ordered a large t-bone steak to share between 4. Told that it would be better if we had two. Indeed it was excellent and better than the single large one we had the week before elsewhere which wasn't cooked through. Fish, pasta and pizza also good. Maybe better to go elsewhere for pizza if that's all you want. Given a free tiramisu to compare with my wife's. It was not as good.

07/10/2025: I travel a lot and usually leave only positive reviews. If you look at my profile, you’ll see that I’m generally fair and kind in my feedback. Unfortunately, this place was a real disappointment. They entered a higher price into the system than what was listed on the menu, and when we pointed it out, they refused to correct it and were extremely rude. They even made offensive comments about us being foreigners and told us to stay in our own country. We ended up paying just to avoid further conflict, but the situation felt very uncomfortable and disrespectful. I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

10/10/2025: It's been 22 years, and today, October 8, 2025, I'm here again. Nothing has changed: the atmosphere, the waiters, everything is wonderful... Not to mention the EXCELLENT food. Even the simple salad is tastier than at other places. It must be thanks to this wonderful city that overflows with peace and, of course, the wonderful restaurant staff. Thank you so much!
04/10/2025: Great service, we were looking for some quick and easy pizzas to takeaway after a long flight. Staff were very welcoming, offered us seats, and a drink, while we waited. Food was ready very quickly and pizza were very tasty that we ate back at our apartment.

17/08/2025: We had the pleasure of staying at Artis Domus and our experience was extremely positive. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great courtesy by the owners, three sisters Rita, Ilaria, and Francesca, whose kindness made the atmosphere even more pleasant.
The location stands out for its serene and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. Special thanks also to the chef, who delighted us with truly delicious dishes.
We particularly appreciated the family atmosphere and the various amenities offered by the property. In particular, the pool was a real treat on this hot August afternoon, offering us a moment of refreshing relaxation.
An experience we highly recommend and hope to repeat soon! Anna and Alberto
08/08/2025: The spa was a pretty cave, but the experience was absolutely terrible when I called at 2:57 PM. She told me to come at three. I told her it was not possible. She said OK come at three. I told her again it wasn’t possible and she said just come now I proceeded to walk over. I paid over $100 for a 50 minute massage. They stuffed me in a room with no air no music a rock hard bed… they b didn’t even cover my naked body!!!. I tried telling the lady that I had a bruise and to be careful of that area. She had zero idea what I was saying she then continued to start with my feet, which was absolutely ridiculous. I had a cut on my foot as well. She was rubbing it… I Immediately got up and walked out And politely asked for my money back and the lady said she could not give me my money back. Completely rude and unprofessional.
UPDATE: you should have someone communicating that speaks English is my point about the time. And NO, that is a lie they did not offer me a massage the next day she said it wasn’t possible. They said they would put me in a different room. I told her I wanted a different masseuse and she said no.
