15/07/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent restaurant! The place is truly delicious! The staff is super hospitable, friendly, and always smiling. They warmly welcome people from all over the world and make you feel right at home. The food is fantastic—everything is prepared with care and flavor. My favorite dish was the "Spaghetti alla Carbonara," truly exceptional! But the other dishes are also delicious, beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. 16/10/2025: A very nice place where you can find excellent food and special people with big hearts. Napoli pizza with friarelli and sausage isn't good... but it's amazing. Chicken al mattone... divine. Then there's the owner and the head waiter, Pasquale, with a heart as big as a house, the pizza chef with golden hands, in short... a pizzeria restaurant discovered by chance on a Thursday in October 2025... that will remain in my heart ♥️ The negative reviews certainly refer to a place with the same name but in another location.

29/07/2025: I can only applaud the lead actor's great performance. I'll start by saying that a few years ago we went to Cocis in Pizzo, near the shopping center, and twice, even though the chicken and pizza were good, they always treated us the same way: a higher bill, and when we asked for a detailed receipt, they added other dishes. We arrived on July 26th, 25th, and we ordered chicken and pizzas for a group of about 15 people. The first thing I said to the friends I was sitting with was that a few years earlier in Pizzo, they had tried to cheat me with the price twice. I have to say that the food is good, both the pizza and the chicken, but the bill remains the real price. When it came time to pay the bill, the man who had greeted us showed up with the classic handwritten note: TOTAL 300 euros. After a quick calculation, we immediately realized there was a problem, and the waiter who did the calculations told us that we hadn't even been charged for the children's first courses (2/3 penne with tomato sauce). So, already with our previous experience, we asked for the itemized bill, and then, like magic, the first courses appeared again. To avoid unnecessary words, I looked at the menu and realized that the wines we ordered had been increased in price to bring the bill to the round figure of 300... APPLAUSE for the third time... COCIS, BRILLIANT IN THE KITCHEN AND PHENOMENAL AT COUNTING... Of course, as soon as we pointed this out, they justified themselves by saying that the menus had been poorly designed and the bill had been adjusted... OBVIOUSLY. With this I just want to make a note to the managers of this place, you are good at cooking and you have a beautiful place, so you absolutely must not risk incurring any fines or anything else, to recover a few more euros it is not worth it and ABOVE ALL THE CUSTOMER IS SACRED... he is the one who goes where he is treated well and does not deserve to be cheated

14/07/2025: Grandioso. Vera cucina locale e piatti tipici. Fatti artigianalmente, una di quelle trattorie che speri di trovare quando cerchi un locale tipico. Trovati per caso e siamo felici di esserci fermati. Super consigliato:)

12/07/2025: Di solito scrivo una recensione solo se positiva, ma quando un cliente si lamenta e non riceve nemmeno una spiegazione o un "mi dispiace", allora forse con una recensione scritta forse viene ascoltato. Ho chiesto un piatto che nel menu viene descritto come "filetto di maiale con costine", invece mi è stato servito una carne che sembrava una braciola divisa in due, dura e piena di nervi, immangiabile. Non ho mai visto un filetto di maiale con l'osso. Le costine ovviamente erano metà grasso, quindi nel totale avrò mangiato l'equivalente ad una piccola bisteca. Oltre che dura la carne aveva un retrogusto di leggermente scaduta. Inoltre abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora per ogni piato. Il locale era pieno e ci sta un'attesa un po' più lunga, ma mezz'ora è tanto. Capisco che in un posto di mare si mangia meglio il pesce, ma allora forse è meglio lasciar perdere la carne. Ci hanno dato un sconto di 3 euro per l'accaduto...

21/09/2025: No, we cannot recommend this place. The wine was okay, but otherwise... Outside the restaurant, there's a menu with interesting dishes at moderate prices. Inside the almost empty restaurant, we were given a slip of paper with two completely different appetizers, first and second courses, without prices. No other dishes or sides were offered. We ordered scaloppine and sea bream and, without asking, received three thin slices of meat in unseasoned tomato sauce with four olives, as well as a soft, breaded piece of frozen fish with a shredded lettuce leaf and a lemon wedge. The bill, which we only received after asking at reception, listed two set menus at a fixed price of €15 each. No set menu price was mentioned when we ordered, and we received what were supposed to be main courses, but they were appetizer-sized.

26/07/2025: Ristorante letteralmente a due passi dal centro. Ambiente molto accogliente e personale super disponibile ed attento alla cura del cliente. Pizza ottima e piatti a base di pesce eccezionali. È senza dubbio il mio ristorante preferito in zona.

24/06/2025: posto semplice ed accogliente: sia pizzeria che trattoria, veloci nel servizio. Ottimo cibo senza tanti orpelli. Peccato rimanga fuorimano: se non lo conosci, non lo trovi.

06/05/2025: War hier für eine schnelle Pizza am späteren Abend. Nettes Lokal mit freundlichem Service, leckeren Pizzen zu sehr vernünftigen Preisen. Habe grosse Lust, nochmals für ein ausführlicheres Essen vorbeizukommen.

02/09/2024: Siamo in vacanza a Tropea,stasera abbiamo fatto un giro in macchina e ci siamo per caso ritrovati a Gioia Tauro,avevamo un languorino e cercando su internet abbiamo trovato questo carinissimo locale il Tavernacolotutto in stile vintage. Entrando il proprietario ci ha accolti in maniera confortevole. Ci siamo fatti consigliare da lui e devo dire che non abbiamo sbagliato,tutto eccezionale,panini super gustosi e carne di ottima qualità. Lo consiglio vivamente.

04/08/2024: Neglected environment, badly cooked and indigestible pizza, rude staff and... rude, terrible quality of products. I'm sorry but a terrible experience which forces me to advise against this place. Start again from the basics because the customer must be pampered from the moment of booking until the delivery of the bill, otherwise change a profession that is not your art!

25/04/2025: ...nella campagna di Monte Poro, a pochi chilometri da Vibo Valentia e dalla più famosa e ridente Tropea, si trova questo agriturismo dove si può gustare una buona cucina calabrese. Buono l'antipasto misto con l ottimo formaggio locale del Poro. buoni affettati, buona la nduja piccante al punto giusto. frittelle varie ed i fagioli nel coccio. Veramente gustosi i fileja con il sugo con la nduja, la grigliata mista veramente abbondante consente di degustare carne di vitello, maiale ed agnello. Personale cortese, prezzi veramente contenuti...e poi c'e' il panorama da gustare ed il mare a 15 minuti di auto...
