22/09/2025: I ordered from this place after seeing the photos online, which looked really inviting. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I had ordered a selection of focaccias specifically to try different types, but none of them convinced me: the flavors were all very bland and lacking in character. I was expecting bolder, richer flavors, but the result was rather bland.
Honestly, it's not a place I'd return to.

26/09/2025: If you're a student, definitely come here for lunch! Delicious food, always fresh, super-good pasta, and a varied menu with two first courses, two second courses, and two side dishes. Plus, they serve the best water in the world and fresh bread every day! Highly recommended!
25/09/2025: We were two couples and, upon arriving in Catanzaro, we found this restaurant almost by accident: a real discovery! The owner was extremely kind and gave us excellent recommendations. We enjoyed authentic, traditional Calabrian cuisine, with delicious and generous portions. The service was excellent, punctual, and always with a smile. The bill was also a pleasant surprise: only €26 per person for a quality dinner. Highly recommended!

12/08/2025: We went to this restaurant on August 10th for pizza in Catanzaro. We had a grilled Tomino appetizer and two traditional pizzas, the Silana and the Calabrese. The pizza was delicious, the appetizer excellent, and above all, the welcome was very warm. We highly recommend it to anyone near Catanzaro Lido. Plus, we were outside, so it was really cool. See you next time! ++++

17/11/2025: The prices were high for what we got; they must have realized we were tourists and took advantage of us. Furthermore, the owner, or the person who served us at the cash register, was rude and misogynistic. He offered us liqueurs and sorbets, but when we got to the counter, he began by saying they were for men only.
This is 2025, not the Middle Ages; something like this is unacceptable.
We definitely won't be back. Modernize yourselves, and not on a culinary level.

The sandwich was really good, and the draft beer was perfectly poured. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. I'll definitely be back!

09/11/2025: A rustic, welcoming pizzeria, unchanged since its inception, with excellent quality ingredients and a very friendly and helpful staff. It's a pleasure to return after many years and find a home-like atmosphere. We ordered the "cartwheel" with four flavors, each one better than the last.
09/10/2025: Welcoming and warm, they truly make you feel at home. The homemade appetizers are truly delicious and mouthwatering. The pizza is excellent, thankfully completely different from anything else you'll find around. Definitely worth a try.

04/10/2025: Historic pizzeria in CZ, but despite the historic building's façade, a minimal sign on the door would have been appreciated, even if it were just a sign indicating the pizzeria/restaurant. The pizza is always good and the prices are reasonable. The restrooms were clean but definitely not large enough for the tables in the dining room. Since I didn't order anything else, I can't comment on the other dishes, but they're worth trying next time. 😉

24/08/2025: We were greeted very warmly. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only flaw with the mixed fried fish was that they served completely cold and raw shrimp, describing it as fresh. After pointing this out, they immediately remade the dish, specifying that the shrimp were cold because they had been frozen, as you can't always have fresh fish. What a shame.
22/08/2025: A true discovery in the heart of Catanzaro. Courteous and attentive service, excellent dishes thanks to a blend of quality ingredients and expert execution, and excellent value. Highly recommended.

Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a snack. We ordered various croquettes (meat, potato, eggplant) and arancini (with various fillings) for €1 each, both excellent and plentiful. For €5 each, we had a delicious lunch... But there were also several ready-made options, like baked pasta, lasagna, and fish! The lady who served us was very kind and helpful.
