08/02/2026: An excellent experience at the Alle Colonne Restaurant/Pub in Caulonia (RC). The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, the staff is friendly and always available...you really feel at home...The pizzas are excellent, with a light dough and quality ingredients, as are the dishes, prepared with care and flavor, especially those from the Caulonia tradition. An ideal place to spend a pleasant evening, and more, with friends. Highly recommended!

We were four of us at this restaurant on July 11, 2025. The welcome was typically touristy, but the restaurant actually offered impeccable service, good food, and excellent value.
It's a shame about the portions, which were really small.

03/03/2026: A lovely, welcoming place with delicious local dishes, including a wide selection of meat cuts. The quality/price ratio is more than excellent.
The four of us stopped here on a long road trip, as it's very conveniently located off the highway. It was an unexpected surprise. Definitely worth a try.

04/03/2026: We ate for four at a charming restaurant with a fireplace. The starters were good. The seafood spaghetti wasn't well seasoned, there were only three mussels, and the prawns, like the calamari, were peeled and frozen. The price was very high, disproportionate to the quality and quantity.

11/03/2026: It's been years since I've been to Pizzeria Romana. Everything has remained the same, obviously with aesthetic updates to the place with improvements. As for the pizza, it's excellent as always with the taste I remembered, and with the legendary phrase from the person who serves you "shall I fold it for you?". I highly recommend anyone visiting Crotone to stop by. Oh, I forgot, the price of the pizza is still moderate at €1.50 a piece.

02/11/2025: This didn’t happen today, but on September 15th - I’m only writing now, when emotions have cooled down.
Still, the experience was very disappointing. I completely understand the restaurant was full and we were willing to wait for a table. However, the waiter was extremely rude and arrogant, and refused to let my 6-year-old daughter use the toilet until we were seated. That’s basic human decency, especially when it concerns a small child. No matter how good the food might be, such an attitude is UNACCEPTABLE!
19/10/2025: This was one of the best meals we've had in Italy! The setting can't be beat - you're right over the water with a direct view of the castle, and the menu offers much more than pizza. The anitpasta seafood board was generously portioned and had a variety of tasty samplings. My wife had the roasted swordfish for dinner, and I had the swordfish panuozzo. Both were delicious in their own distinct way. We felt very welcome despite limited Italian language skills, and the price was very reasonable for such great quality food. We hope to return someday!

23/10/2025: There were six of us, and we ordered different dishes: some pasta, some pizza, and a cured meats appetizer for everyone. We were very happy, we really had a great time. Highly recommended.
