08/05/2026: If you're feeling hungry while working and you're working for the fourteenth hour, you have to stop for a meal! And I stopped at Rocco's restaurant, a family-run business run by a woman who's never failed to smile! Well done! And well done to the chef too! I ordered a cold mixed seafood appetizer and a four-cheese pizza. The appetizer was spectacular: the baked mackerel, and the stuffed artichokes in fish sauce were perfectly balanced and exude flavors from times gone by. Bravo! I was hungry and demotivated by the abandonment of a friend who I consider out of my depth! Goodbye Ros!

06/05/2026: Opposite the splendid Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere, this bar/pizzeria is the perfect stop. The traditional local desserts are excellent. The guy who runs it these days is incredibly kind and friendly.
