17/06/2025: Il Vecchio Borgo is the kind of restaurant you would like to have under your house. An enchanting atmosphere in the heart of a wonderful village, with an outdoor terrace perfect for dining al fresco.
Impeccable service, punctual, kind and very attentive.
The cuisine is superb. I had raw meat with truffle and parmesan, cavatelli with mussels and clams, and a rib eye steak with baked potatoes. Everything was excellent: top quality ingredients that were respected and enhanced, generous portions and perfect cooking (the rare steak was exactly as requested).
And the price? Only 53.20 euros for a complete dinner at a high-end restaurant. A truly rare quality-price ratio.
Compliments to the staff, Il Vecchio Borgo is a real gem. I will definitely be back!

24/06/2025: Comfortable hotel, close to the state road to the Simplon Pass. On the ground floor there is a restaurant and pizzeria.
13/06/2025: Unbeatable value for money. I stayed there with my dog. The rooms were simple but clean and had everything you need. A nice balcony. It's obvious that it's near the highway, but I didn't find it too noisy and slept well. The breakfast is good Italian and is served in the bar. I was asked what I wanted and was given it. Above all, I was struck by the friendliness of everyone working there. In the hotel, restaurant, and bar. You feel at home there. The only thing that was a bit difficult was walking the dog... you just have to know how to cope a little.

01/06/2025: We didn't stay In a hotel but the went to drink coffee - it is cheap, good. Pastries are amazing. Ladies who work here are super kind. I recommend for a coffee stop at least !

07/07/2024: Pranzo domenicale con coppia di amici. Struttura molto grande, più adatta a tavolate o cerimonie, ma gli ampi spazi garantiscono una buona sistemazione anche a chi si presenta in numero ridotto. Menù fisso con ripetuti passaggi di antipasti( almeno una decina), 2 primi, 2 carni + verdure varie, dolce, caffè, acqua e vino in bottiglia. Il tutto per 35€ cad, vista la quantità di portate le porzioni sono sotto forma di assaggi, ma il gentile personale è sempre pronto a “rincarare” la dose. Ambiente rustico ma pulito, un plauso alla simpatia del titolare che serve ai tavoli.
