29/12/2024: On this Sunday at the end of the year we were looking for quiet and a view of the mountains, the smell of wood and stove, genuine food.
At La Ciuenda we found this and much more: very tasty and well-cooked food based on high quality home-grown food, a table in front of the stove with a view of the forest and the mountains, a very nice and attentive family service (super Yari , even the coffee from the moka while chatting outdoors, fantastic).
The cured meats, tomini and polenta with stew are excellent.
Very honest price.
Well done, well done, well done. Keep it up.
We will definitely come back to see you, hoping that you will also open some rooms for overnight stays.
P.S. they also have a shop at the bottom of the valley where they sell their cheeses and cured meats.
14/10/2024: My partner and I found ourselves by chance for lunch in this wonderful place
farmhouse, in the mountains, surrounded by nature,
just 20 km from Ivrea, everything was to our liking from the appetizers to the ice cream, most of the products they produce. We spent a beautiful Sunday in tranquility and relaxation, the owners were kind and courteous.
We will definitely return.

09/02/2025: I didn't want to leave anymore because I wanted to eat all the veal with tuna sauce they had in addition to everything else.
04/02/2025: Excellent, in fact, for a stop (nomen omen) to or from the mountain. I always go there on Sunday evenings returning from the Aosta valley (queues on the motorway permitting). Excellent Piedmontese cuisine. I recommend the vitello with tuna sauce. Among the desserts, my favorite is tiramisu. You can also take just one glass of the wines although unfortunately I avoid stopping by car.

24/01/2025: Restaurant perched in Settimo Vittone, not very easy to reach between narrow streets and hairpin bends, but worth it for the landscapes. The possibility of tasting many small plates of hot and cold appetizers at really competitive prices, perhaps to share, is fun. The carpaccio with chestnut cream is delicious. Very particular wine list with vintage wines, kind and friendly owner, welcoming atmosphere!
14/01/2025: A fixed annual event, for me who am not from Piedmont. Excellent food, very friendly and quick service, absolutely accessible prices (obviously the wines raise the price, the cellar is well stocked).
Nice and well kept place.
Possibility of buying various delicacies at the entrance, from sauces to risotto preparations, from polenta to biscuits.
A place of the heart ♥️

15/02/2025: We have been to the Angelo restaurant for dinner several times and each time it has been an impeccable experience. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the service attentive and the dishes taken care of down to the smallest details.
But on Valentine's Day, Chef Rao really outdid himself! The organization was perfect, the setting even more romantic than usual and the special menu was simply delicious. Each course was an explosion of flavours, prepared with quality ingredients and served with great elegance, I dare say sublime!
Congratulations to all the staff for the passion and professionalism they put into their work. We will definitely be back!

14/08/2024: Locale che ho visitato parecchie volte durante le gite in moto in Valle. Comodo il parcheggio, ampia sala, prodotti di qualita'. La gerente è persona gentile e, bisogna ammetterlo, di rara bellezza.

13/01/2025: Lati positivi: pizza sottile e croccante, quindi digeribile, cucina provata buona (sia di carne che di pesce).
Lati negativi: a mio modesto avviso poco personale e quindi lentezza nello sparecchiare e nel seguire i clienti, ambiente al piano di sopra un po' impersonale.
nel complesso stelle meritate, ci torneremo!

La pizza eccellente, la migliore in zona.
Prezzi nella norma.
Inoltre dotati di un buon servizio ristorante.

09/06/2024: Due volte all’anno ci si ritrova con i colleghi che ancora lavorano e con chi è già in pensione, il menù che viene proposto è sempre stato all’altezza delle varie occasioni, il personale ed il titolare sempre disponibili, educati ed attenti alle varie esigenze dei commensali. I piatti proposti veramente buoni, lo consiglio vivamente per festeggiare varie occasioni o come per noi un punto di ritrovo per eccellenza.

27/07/2024: Estábamos alojados en esta ciudad, y fue la última noche de mi familia extensa en Italia. Mi mamá encontró este restaurante en línea al azar, así que fuimos! No solo era el personal tan servicial a nuestro mal italiano y dispuesto a hablar inglés con nosotros, pero la comida estaba muy bien presentada y tan delicioso. ¡Mi tío incluso pidió otro de mis platos fuertes (Rupie Dhal) porque dijo que nunca había tenido mejores lentejas en su vida! Todos acordamos que era una de las mejores comidas que habíamos tenido durante nuestro viaje de un mes a través de Italia! Todos seguimos tomando fotos del menú para intentar replicar los platos en casa.
Todos recomendamos encarecidamente que vaya aquí
(cuidado con los mosquitos en el patio) Solo tomé fotos del postre, pero solo confío en que fue increíble!
