Donato is incredibly friendly, and I also thank the chefs for their delicious dishes! The atmosphere here is beautiful, but the food is even better! I recommend the "big mouse" platter, a giant, delicious burger!!! 😋
09/07/2025: I was on vacation for three days west of Turin to visit some of the area's attractions, and my nephew and I had dinner at Il Topogriglio: excellent food and a family welcome.
We chatted with Donato, the owner, who treated us with extreme kindness and courtesy.
The location was atmospheric, with elegant background music.
We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next evening, having booked in advance (which was a good thing, because I saw other customers arrive who didn't get a seat).
We enjoyed the large topo (double gourmet burger) and the grilled fillet steak.
The meat was of excellent quality and was shown to us before it was cooked.
Excellent red beer, total cost €50.
A must try, believe me!

29/06/2025: We were passing by and decided to stop at this restaurant, attracted by the good reviews of the food. Unfortunately, we didn't even have a chance to sit down: as soon as we entered, the restaurateur greeted us rudely, brusquely pointing out that you have to book on the weekend, even though there were several free tables.
When I replied - "I was just passing by and saw the place" - he continued with the same rude tone, reiterating that he was only saying that we had to book and that we could still sit "at that table". All accompanied by a sarcastic comment as he walked away: "this is a really bad start for us".
At that point we left, without even sitting down. We are very sorry, because we were really curious to try the cuisine that so many people speak highly of, but we had never been greeted in such a rude and aggressive way by a restaurateur. The experience starts with courtesy, not just the dish: and here, unfortunately, it was completely missing.

Very kind staff.
Food cooked at the moment or very fresh, satisfying portions, decent choice.
Price proposed for a really convenient business lunch (first course, second course, side dish, 1/2 water or glass of wine for 12 euros)

09/05/2025: Pizza e farinata ottime, altamente digeribili e con ingredienti di qualità. Anche i dolci sono consigliatissimi. Titolari e cameriere simpatici e cordiali. Locale accogliente e pulitissimo. Da un paio di anni è diventata la nostra pizzeria di riferimento e la consigliamo a tutti. Complimenti a tutto il personale.
