Nice pub/burger joint, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a typical provincial place where it is pleasant to stop especially after a day of trekking in the mountains.
The sandwich is good and very plentiful, average compared to other similar places. The chips are a sore point: on two visits, on both occasions they seemed reheated, not very crispy and with a slightly tired flavor, but it can certainly be a suggestion for the kitchen, it is easily improved.
The ribs: small portions, I would not recommend them, unlike the sandwiches.
Good beer, decent selection. Waiting times are normal.
Overall, a place that can be good for an informal evening with friends. Average prices.
13/05/2025: Without a doubt the best hamburger in the Susa Valley, excellent and quality, the cost is proportionate to the portions and the staff is welcoming. There is also an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the view in the warm months. A place suitable for any time.
Edit after a couple of years: the quality of the hamburgers has plummeted dramatically, just for lovers of antisociality now there is also a huge TV to daze the children. It was nice

16/03/2025: I know well how much effort it takes to run a restaurant business and how much a bad day can have an impact. However, some things that happened today are not acceptable: very cold room, grated cheese brought to the table with a really noticeable old smell, a glass with a residue that I removed "so as not to bother", the bathroom without toilet paper at the start of service, pointed out and still without paper after almost an hour (with 5 customers seated in total, therefore not a full room). And a meatloaf perhaps defrosted badly, with a questionable amount of water on the plate and a smell, again, old. The discount we sensed at the checkout was appreciable, but without excuses or explanations. We hope for the place to have hit a bad day, you can correct some oversights and certainly do better.

Trattoria dei Prati

19/02/2024: Ieri siamo stati a pranzo a Pratobotrile con una copia di amici ed i nostri cani.
Dopo aver fatto un’escursione sino al Col Lombardo ci siamo fermati per pranzo alla “Trattoria dei Prati”.
Naturalmente dopo aver prenotato con largo anticipo in quanto la domenica a pranzo il locale è molto frequentato soprattutto da avventori locali ed escursionisti amanti del buon cibo della tradizione.
Siamo stati fatti accomodare in veranda dove abbiamo potuto trovare spazio ed agio per far accovacciare i nostri cani.
Una veranda posizionata nella parte sud del locale, con ampie vetrate che si affacciano sulla valle di Susa. Davvero gradevole.
Scegliamo il vino rosso della casa (Barbera) e veniamo riforniti di una bella brocca dell’ottima acqua di fonte locale.
E di qui sono iniziati ad essere proposti antipasti della tradizione :
piattino di affettati (salame cotto e lardo su tutti !), acciughe al verde quasi del tutto prive di aglio (gustate così anche dai “nemici” delle liliacee ma non per questo meno sfiziose) e poi piccoli tomini “elettrici”, vitello tonnato e peperoni con la tradizionale bagna cauda (anch’essa molto leggera).
A seguire una proposta di polenta “concia”deliziosa (la croccante crosticina formatasi con la cottura al forno perfezionava il tutto).
E poi ancora polenta normale accostata a tre portate :
cinghiale, spezzatino e salsiccia.
Tutti satolli e soddisfatti !
Dopo il tempo necessario gustiamo, come dolce, degli ottimi “martin sec”.
Ossia, pere cotte al vino che si fa leggermente caramellato grazie alla cottura.
A chiudere distillato di genziana della casa.
Insomma un ottimo pranzo.
Nonostante il numero dei commensali presenti il servizio non è mai stato incerto o vacillante. Anzi sempre pronto e cordiale.
Conto davvero onesto.
Torneremo di certo alla prossima gita sulle montagne di Condove.

29/07/2023: Di passaggio a Condove ci siamo fermati per un veloce aperitivo e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti: ambiente giovane, spazi ampi, servizio rapido ed eccellente, un mare di stuzzichini buonissimi... che non ci aspettavamo! Prezzi equi. Torneremo sicuramente
