18/10/2025: The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, decorated with warm colors and plenty of exposed wood. The ingredients used for the food are excellent, and the dishes are tasty and flavorful. The dishes, though revisited, are reminiscent of the flavors of yesteryear.
A good Paola.

Homemade food. Courteous staff. The owner, Franca, is very kind. Recommended.

28/09/2025: Today, we had lunch at this restaurant with our Alpine Group, and it was an excellent choice. The restaurant is well-maintained and very suitable for families and groups. The well-prepared dishes allow you to savor the flavors of the region. The service is attentive and courteous, but what really stood out was the sweetness of the owner, Mrs. Angela. Like a tender mother, she welcomed us with love and looked after us at various times as if we were her own big family. Dear Angela, you are VALENTINO.

13/10/2025: A spartan tavern like it used to be. No menu and only two menus, one with mushrooms and the other with limited choices. Three appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses.
The tagliolini with ragù are light on meat; the ones with porcini mushrooms are better and tastier; the fried ones are good.
The prices are still reasonable.
The owner is friendly and the staff is friendly.

I've known Jolly for years, but their willingness to serve dinner at 10:00 PM on Sundays demonstrates the professionalism and dedication of the kitchen and the staff. They're friendly and eager to do their job well.
The Sardinian appetizer and two fried dishes were excellent despite the late order.
The tiramisu was delicious and well-made.
The only flaw was the crème brulee: the crust was good, but the cream was too runny.
Overall, it's a positive review, and I hope you'll accept the constructive criticism.

23/11/2025: I love trattorias, the real, authentic ones, but it's increasingly difficult to find them because so many restaurants pass themselves off as such... This is a real trattoria, a warm atmosphere, the perfect place for family celebrations, delicious food, and friendly, kind staff. I've read some negative reviews about dog owners; I believe they're sad souls fueled by anger and resentment. I'm writing this because I've worked in the world of reviews, and I recognize the false or resentful ones... this is an honest place where you eat well, with generous dishes, often served multiple times, and good wine, a true trattoria to mark on your list of places to return to.

16/07/2025: Nos pareció que la experiencia fue bastante decepcionante. Estaba bien, pero no a la altura de la experiencia gastronómica de alta calidad algo caro que esperaríamos de un restaurante de este tipo.
Elegimos del menú Al a la carta.
El equilibrio de sabores no era muy bueno y faltaba condimento.
La pasta estaba mal cocida, aunque el plato principal de mi esposa ‘bollito di mare’ era excelente.
Desafortunadamente no lo recomendaría.
05/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato il 70° compleanno di mio papà in questo ristorante e non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore. Il cibo è stato ottimo: piatti che rispettano la tradizione piemontese ma con un tocco di creatività che li rende ancora più interessanti. I primi sono stati i veri protagonisti — risotto e gnocchi alle ortiche semplicemente deliziosi. Il servizio è stato gentile e attento, contribuendo a rendere speciale una giornata importante per tutta la famiglia. Un posto che consiglio con piacere, sia per una cena tranquilla che per un’occasione da ricordare.

05/05/2025: Dopo la visita al bellissimo castello di Agliè ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante, attirati dalla posizione comoda. Il cameriere è stato molto simpatico e accogliente, unico vero punto a favore dell’esperienza. Purtroppo il cibo ci ha deluso: a parte l’antipasto tipico piemontese, che era buono e ben presentato, il resto del pasto è stato sotto le aspettative. Piatti senza gusto, porzioni poco curate e qualità discutibile. Un vero peccato, perché il posto avrebbe del potenziale.
28/04/2025: Dopo aver visitato il castello di Agliè, decidiamo di pranzare in questo locale in quanto più vicino e con recensioni promettenti. Locale retrò e con bella visuale.
L'idea era quella di un pranzo tipico piemontese ma a parte l'antipasto, i prodotti atoctoni non sembrano essere il loro forte. Qualità-prezzo non proporzionata, parliamo di portate medio-basse.
Non ci tornerei.

08/09/2024: Ci siamo stati a pranzo, dopo avere visitato la mostra della ceramica di Castellamonte, curiosa dopo avere letto recensione positiva di fb in gruppo vegetariani. Ambiente ospitale e relax, cibo molto buono e curato, prezzo giusto. Se si è trovato bene pure mio marito che è " onnivoro"ed è talvolta un po' prevenuto coi piatti veg, è tutto detto! Comunque c'è anche un piatto con carne, per quelli che proprio non ce la fanno ...Di sicuro ci torno volentieri.
