If you want to feel the scent of the sea and the warmth of Sardinia without leaving the mainland, then Il Veliero is your obligatory stop!
Here we are not just talking about food, but about a real experience: a restaurant run with passion by authentic Sardinians, where hospitality is at home and good humor is served along with the dishes. The waiter? A real character! Friendly, attentive and with that touch of irony that makes dinner even more pleasant.
The menu is a hymn to tradition: mussels marinara style, fregola with seafood and an abundance of cured meats and cheeses that will make your mouth water just by looking at them. And then there's her, the creamy burrata wrapped in raw ham, a true poem! All accompanied by excellent wines such as a robust Cannonau or a fragrant Barbera d'Asti, perfectly combined with the strong flavors of the sea and the land.

02/02/2025: If you are looking for a place that combines the charm of an old brewery with the freshness of the best catch of the day, Polipazzo is the perfect destination!
As soon as you cross the threshold, the welcoming and slightly vintage atmosphere will make you immediately feel at home. Wood, period details and a maritime touch blend perfectly, creating an informal but refined environment.
But let's move on to the piece de resistance: the fish! Very fresh, expertly prepared and served with a touch of creativity by the chef, who deserves a round of applause. From crispy prawns on a bed of aubergines to salmon tartare with poppy seeds, each dish is an explosion of taste and freshness. And what about the wine list? Perfectly combined with the menu, with gems such as the Garnacha Blanca "La Sastrería", perfect for enhancing the flavors of the sea.
If you love good fish and are looking for a restaurant with personality, where the food speaks for itself and the welcome is at home, Polipazzo is a must. An experience to repeat, and perhaps to accompany with a toast in honor of the chef!

28/12/2024: Necessità di maggiore cura. La sala è rimasta quella di un pub datato. Il tentativo di adornarla con elementi richiamanti il mare rende tutto ancora più kitsch. Necessita qualcuno con un gusto estetico più fine. Via i pupazzi dal bagno, i grambiuli di Natale appesi ai vetri, via i deodoranti per ambiente in vendita sul bancone. Non lasciare zone della sala completamente al buio che fanno sembrare il locale in chiusura. Qualche luce d’atmosfera. Date il menu in mano ad un grafico, ogni pagina ha un font diverso con grandezze diverse, font che sembrano quelli usati come stencil sui bancali. Un po’ più cura anche nello standing, va bene avere un servizio informale ma se hai i capelli lunghi e il barbone comunque andrebbe curato, magari una camicia al posto della t-shirt nera e dei jeans quantomeno lunghi abbastanza o se si vuole lasciare la caviglia in vista allora una bella scarpa, non le scarpe da ginnastica da basket. Quando si propongono i piatti del giorno comunicare anche i prezzi.
Il pesce è fresco nonostante comunque i piatti non sono memorabili.

30/10/2024: We ate here for a birthday party. I had a really bad experience regarding the quality of the food and the prices!
The menu was fixed with two miserable appetizers including a savory pie that was microscopic and perhaps not even thicker than an inch, apple salad, even the portions were microscopic (apples don't cost much) let alone the raw rice and the second course meat that looked like a shoe sole and the potatoes are acceptable but nothing special... for what I ate and drank the expense incurred is not justified... furthermore when I go out and go to a restaurant I expect to at least eat a little better than I cook at home.
The only strength they have is the location and that's it.
01/09/2024: Restaurant built close to this cellar of morainic origin used in ancient times for the conservation of wine and cheese. The cellar constantly takes in air from natural cracks called "ores". The restaurant is surrounded by greenery and trees. It has tables both inside and outside and a large room for organizing weddings or private parties. The food is excellent and cooked in a simple way but with 0 km products. The agnolotti are homemade and are delicious. For those who love tango, in front of the restaurant, there is a dance floor that comes alive on Friday evenings. The bathroom is on the first floor and this could be a problem. There is private parking.
