10/03/2026: Worst meal in Italy in a long while. Pork filet was way overcooked, yet served to table only lukewarm. Black cabbage was inedible, way too salty. At check out, cashier insisted I was wrong and the pork was cooked perfectly and the cabbage had never had a complaint and could not be salty. Wish I had been served what he insisted was put on table! Very dissapointing experience, glad I did not go prix fixe. Was hoping someone might stop by to check in while I was suffering through the meal, but that did not prove the case.

11/01/2026: I usually enjoy this place, and that's precisely why I was quite disappointed this evening. I ordered takeout in advance, but the service organization was confusing: several people who had ordered after me received their food first, while I had to wait without any clear explanation. The quality of the products remains good, as always, and that's why I keep coming back, but a place shouldn't be judged solely by what's on the plate. Order management, especially for takeout, needs to be revisited to avoid unpleasant situations like this, which waste customers' time and patience.

07/07/2025: Flamingo Cafè is a place suitable for: Simple but well-kept breakfasts and lunch breaks, with fresh bread, croissants, sandwiches and good quality coffee. A welcoming and well-kept environment, with always very helpful staff. A reasonable price, ideal for those looking for quality at a moderate cost. Recommended if you are looking for a young and lively bar, with an excellent welcome and a good selection of artisanal products for breakfast or a snack. It is also a well-stocked tobacconist. Friendly and attentive staff, which makes the service pleasant  Clean, fresh and modern environment. Average reasonable price.

09/03/2026: I was at this restaurant yesterday. After calling to check if there were two seats available, it was 1:00 PM, and I was told that if we returned by 2:00 PM, that is, an hour later, they would welcome us and let us eat. I should point out that there were only two of us, not a group. We decided not to eat anywhere else, to take a walk to pass the time and return as agreed upon over the phone. At 2 pm we met in the restaurant in front of the counter, reception, and after 10/15 minutes of not seeing any of the staff, we went upstairs where we finally found two waiters, one of whom was the one I had spoken to on the phone. In a very annoyed and hasty manner, they told us that it was not possible to have us eat because the kitchen was out of order and far behind. We tried to make them understand that if we were guaranteed a place, we would trust them and respect the work of others and their word, we did not look for anything else and wasted. An hour of walking around on foot in vain, obviously taking away any possibility of eating elsewhere given the time. Unfortunately, once again we were told that it wasn't possible because the kitchen was too behind with very long waits even for those who had been sitting for a long time. We asked, with extreme patience, if settling for a pizza would unblock the situation and trying to accommodate him further was a solution, but not even that, replying to do what we wanted, to sit down, but without guaranteeing us anything certain. At that point, rather incredulous, hungry, my companion pointed out that they should have found a solution to the mistake and we decided to sit down. After a few minutes one of the two waiters comes to the table, huffing and rudely throwing the menus at us. At that point we decided that it was really too much and left. I don't recommend it. Furthermore, I'm surprised at how quickly you responded to my one-star review of the service (because I didn't have the honor of eating), which I wrote this morning and I hope you put the same speed into your work too!!!

22/02/2026: Restaurant serving typical Sicilian/Calabrian cuisine. The food is good, the price is reasonable, and the staff is friendly. A quiet place to spend an evening with friends. I recommend the eggplant cannoli and the desserts, which are truly delicious. Dogs are welcome.

15/03/2026: The pinsas are truly delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant is also truly beautiful, with its exposed brick vaults. I didn't give the ambiance the maximum star rating because the only small suggestion I can make is about ventilation. When we left the restaurant, we had a strong oven smell on our clothes. Again, this is a criticism I hope you'll take favorably, as the food is excellent, the value is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

04/12/2025: Amazing place for sweets, snacks , drinks , coffee specialities and of cours famous for Panettone cake ! Really recommendable ! Parking space is directly opposite the bakery.
