29/01/2026: The sandwiches are good, but very expensive for what they offer. The atmosphere is modest. A normal experience, neither praiseworthy nor infamous.
18/01/2026: A place like many others, nothing special, a classic steakhouse pizzeria in keeping with all similar places. I ordered a 340g sandwich, which was certainly a generous portion, but I personally love crispy bacon on sandwiches, and it wasn't there here. The meat was very good, and the burger was cooked well, but I'd add some sauce to help it all come together.
Worth trying once, but honestly, nothing that would make me want to return often.

24/12/2025: Located on the highway connecting Borgomanero to Novara, this small restaurant offers a good number of seats and excellent service, given the interest of those who answered the phone to reserve a table inquiring whether any of us had allergies or not—a fact that very few people do.
As for the food, I ordered peppers in bagna cauda for an appetizer, spaghetti with squid ink with red mullet ragù and burrata, if I remember correctly, and finally grilled octopus tentacle.
Average prices.
Relatively quick service and excellent product quality. Special thanks to the waiters for their attentive and friendly service.

From the evocative location, to Chef Stefano's attention to detail, with dishes that are masterpieces, all worth trying, to the well-stocked wine cellar. Let Cristina, sommelier, advise you, and finish with desserts that are a feast for the palate.
07/12/2025: It was my first time at this restaurant, and it was also my last.
Aside from the food, which I found truly subpar, the worst thing was the service.
The lady who served my table, whom I was seeing for the first time, addressed me informally and called me "young girl" (I'm 66). I was scolded for not finishing my portion. I've never seen such an attitude in a canteen.

04/01/2026: For lunch on Sunday before Epiphany, we had an excellent risotto with Nebbiolo and Gorgonzola and a mixed boiled meat dish. The risotto was very good, and the owner/chef was attentive enough to request the desired doneness. The boiled meat with beef, tongue, and cotechino was accompanied by boiled potatoes, mustard, salsa verde, and anchovy sauce. The meat was very tender and flavorful. The price was absolutely fair. The welcome was warm and attentive to the customer's requests.

24/11/2024: Qui ci troviamo sempre benissimo....i proprietari, il sig.Sergio e la sig.ra Silvana, sono di una cordialita' d'altri tempi. Ottima la cena...cotechino con tartufo ,risotto Macalle' imbattibile, lumache all'alsaziana....tutto genuino , del territorio....buona cantina e servizio attento...la tradizione qui e' ancora sacra....e dietro a tutto cio' c'e' una gran passione.....se cercate altro non andate.
09/11/2024: Proposte del territorio realizzate con sapienza culinaria di chi conosce profondamente la materia prima ,ovviamente il must è il loro risotto che si deve provare sempre e comunque. ,Proposte di carne e pesce articolata e in continuo cambiamento che segue il ritmo delle stagioni. Locale con eleganza senza tempo e servizio impeccabile ma non invadente.E’ sempre un piacere ritornare a casa.
