22/08/2024: Excellent service, very good dishes, I went several times and the last time there were 2 waiters and the tables were completely full but it didn't get worse at any time, the environment was quiet, fresh and pleasant
18/08/2024: A restaurant that tastes like home. Exquisite food, interesting and seasonal menu, always with proposals of the day. I recommend everything: appetizers, first and second courses but above all the DESSERTS made by the amazing Lilli. Excellent wine list and unique location immersed in the splendid Villa Nigra of Miasino.
Super value for money!
My favorite dishes: guinea fowl with truffle oil (starter), asparagus in phyllo dough with fondue / truffle (starter), salmon tartare, risotto with roast sauce or with castelmagno, gnocchi with clams and turnip tops, guinea fowl with peaches ( second)

Ristorante Cà Mea

24/08/2024: We found this place by chance, wandering the streets above Orta, looking for an al fresco restaurant. An input on the internet and a local person directed us to Ca' Mea. Location a bit remote and not easy to find but it was worth it. Pleasant and quiet place. Fixed price menu of great quality, preparation and price. Very kind and professional young waiter. A nice surprise and thank goodness we didn't stop in Orta. Furthermore, at 11 km there is Mottarone where we found 23° of refreshment and a view of the lakes

05/06/2024: Deludente tempi d’attesa infiniti, 40 minuti per il primo e mezz’ora per il secondo! Inoltre nn hanno le mezze bottiglie del vino e i calici non sono inseriti nella carta per cui non se ne conoscono i prezzi. I piatti non erano abbastanza caldi e il personale freddo e poco accogliente
04/06/2024: The Hotel Bocciolo recommended this restaurant. It was just a short walk from the hotel. We weather didn’t cooperate so we missed the sunset and lake views and had to settle for most excellent service, great food and wine. Our waitress suggested an awesome Roche d’Ampsej Roero Riserve 2014… spectacular!
She also suggested some great Barolo producers to visit in Piedmont.

24/05/2024: Il cibo è buono e ben preparato ma per raggiungere la sala ristorante bisogna fare una caccia al tesoro ed una corsa ad ostacoli. Il mio consiglio sarebbe di rendere il percorso parcheggio/sala ristorante più curato e meglio segnalato e consiglierei anche al proprietario di essere più propenso ad accettare le critiche soprattutto se costruttive e di non assumere quel comportamento di "supponenza" che secondo me non lo porta da nessuna parte.
04/05/2024: Also wir fahren jetzt 20 Jahre an den Ortasee und haben schon manche "Essen " verspeist aber das was wir dort gegessen haben war ganz großes Kino.Die kleine Karte hat es in sich ,alles ganz frisch zubereitet.Die Lebensmittel ganz frisch und sehr schmackhaft.
Ich finde auch das Umfeld halt alt Italien und das ist gut so.Wir haben unsere Gaststätte gefunden.
