28/02/2026: The location here is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature and in a peaceful setting; inside, there are also two welcoming and charming rooms.
The menu is a fixed selection of local and international dishes, and I found the quality to be good overall, especially considering the excellent value for money. The service was perhaps a little slow, but that's understandable given the crowds. I'll definitely return, perhaps in the warmer months.
27/02/2026: For Sunday lunch, the place was a bit noisy due to a celebration for two birthdays, but the value was very good. Good-quality ingredients, a complete set menu at a fair price, excluding drinks.

01/03/2026: We have stayed at the Castello twice and both times were amazed by the level of service and the quality of the food. Even in the Barolo region where restaurants are held to a very high standard Denise’s menu is a cut above. All these rhapsodic reviews from seasoned travelers are well deserved. I look forward to a third visit.

From the moment we arrived, Denise and her incredible staff delivered a level of service that can only be described as top-notch perfection. Every detail was anticipated, every need was met before we even knew we had it, and every interaction felt genuinely warm and personal.
What impressed us most was the meticulous planning Denise and her team handled for our stay. From curated daily itineraries to seamless reservations and thoughtful recommendations, everything flowed effortlessly. It made our trip feel not just relaxing, but expertly crafted.
And then—the dinner. Truly world-class. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-bite, look around the table, and silently agree that you’ll be talking about this night for years. Every dish showcased local ingredients, deep knowledge, and a chef's touch that borders on magic.
One of the highlights of our entire trip was the pasta-making class hosted by Denise herself. It was fun, hands-on, charmingly educational, and absolutely delicious. Denise has an incredible gift for teaching and making everyone feel like part of something special. We didn’t just learn how to make pasta — we created one of the happiest memories of our journey.

15/11/2024: Come ogni anno andiamo a visitare i proprietari di questa agriturismo.
Ci rechiamo sempre con piacere, perché oltre alla simpatia che suscitano i due gestori si può apprezzare la cucina semplice ma genuina condita con un saporito tartufo. Consigliato.
15/11/2024: Als langjährige Italien Reisende mit Vorliebe für Agriturismo haben wir uns sehr auf dieses Sonntagsmittagessen in der Trüffelzeit gefreut.
Was uns begeistert hat:
Der Speiseraum ist noch sehr authentisch, das alte Paar welches scheinbar das Agriturismo schmeißt, passt perfekt in das Ambiente. Sehr urig. Selbst die Anfahrt ist urig. Wir haben einen der beiden möglichen Rotwein bestellt. Dieser war sehr gut und nur zu empfehlen.
Dann:
Wir wurden gefragt was wir essen wollen Es gab keine Karte. Das hat uns aber nicht gewundert. Es wurden jedoch nicht wie im Agriturismo oft, einfach alle Gänge mit Primi und Secondi gebracht.
Die Auswahl der möglichen Gerichte war nicht wirklich groß. Käse, Hack, Pasta und Ei. Wir entschieden uns für Pasta und Ei. Danach sollten wir uns einen Trüffel von einem Tablett aussuchen welcher abgewogen wurde.
Dann wurden nacheinander die einzelnen Gänge an die Tische gebracht, die die jeweiligen Gerichte bestellt hatten. Pasta und Ei waren nicht bei den ersten Gängen. Wir haben 1,5 Stunden gewartet, bis wir das erste Gericht hatten. Dann bekamen wir ein liebloses Schälchen mit matschiger wässriger Pasta. Noch nie habe ich in Italien so schlechte Pasta bekommen. Schade um den Trüffel der darauf gehobelt wurde. Umso größer war die Freude / und auch der Hunger auf die Eier. Unsere Hauptspeise, das Secondi.
Als dies kamen sind wir fast vom Stuhl gefallen. Jeder von uns hat….. 1 nackiges Spiegelei bekommen.
Voller Frust und Hunger sind wir aufgestanden und zur Kasse.
Die Rechnung lautete:
1 Pasta a 6 Euro
1 Pasta a 6 Euro
1 Ei a 5 Euro
1 Ei a 5 Euro
Trüffel 60 Euro
Wein 22 Euro
= insg. 96 Euro für ewiges warten, matschige Pasta und EIN Spiegelei für 5 EURO.
Unglaublich. So was habe ich noch nicht erlebt.
