04/07/2025: Deeply DISAPPOINTED! Today at 5.30 I went to buy lunch to take to work, I specify the time to point out that I am one of the first customers of the day, in fact I do not deny that inside the shop it was full of freshly baked food, both sweet and savory. The problem was this, I wanted to get a focaccia stuffed with salami. I INDICATED ☝️ the product I wanted and the saleswoman at the counter with the excuse of "I'll give you this packaged one so you can eat it more easily" gave me, yes, the focaccia with salami, but the quality of it made it clear that it was not fresh that day, definitely from the day before (and I hope not later). I didn't notice it at first, also because I paid the same price as the freshly baked one... and I had to go to work as soon as possible. I had confirmation that it wasn't fresh when, at lunch, I noticed that the salami was pale in color and the focaccia was a bit rubbery, no longer soft and a bit moist on the base (most likely due to the fact that it was kept closed in plastic) and the smell wasn't the best, also because it had taken on a bit of the smell of plastic. *attached photo* I can understand that you don't want to throw away food, in fact I'm in favor of this choice, but selling a product with such a quality at the same price as one freshly baked a few hours before is wrong in my opinion... instead, a "discount" could have been applied (20-30%) or through Too Good To Go to encourage customers to buy them and avoid throwing them away. If I have to choose to spend the same amount between a freshly made product and one packaged yesterday, after having most likely been on the counter all day... I would obviously choose to buy the fresh one of the same day. Also because if I go to a bakery I do it to buy good food made on the same day, if I wanted something packaged I could have easily gotten it at the supermarket or at a food and drink distributor. I don't give 1 star because I didn't feel bad and it was edible and also because I'm a fairly regular customer, I know the products they have and I can say that they have good and valid stuff. In addition to the focaccia I bought a croissant for a colleague and she appreciated it. I kindly ask that this review be taken into consideration as a way to improve the service. Have a nice day.
