02/01/2025: The Rifugio La Carlina, managed by Marta since this year, turned out to be a very good choice to celebrate New Year's Eve with our group of friends. The dormitories, renovated this summer, are large, warm and welcoming. We spent 2 days playing board games, in a welcoming atmosphere, accompanied by excellent food and the kindness of Marta, always attentive to everyone's needs (vegetarians and various allergies). The clear skies and pink dawns were the setting for a truly special experience. Being a stopping point on the Occitan Routes, the refuge is perfect for both hikers and those simply looking for a quiet place to unwind. highly recommended!

09/11/2024: We stayed at "la carlina" at the end of the summer, we stayed two nights sleeping with friends in the largest dormitory. We were thrilled with everything, Marta's welcome is extraordinary, the structure is very beautiful and we can't wait to return to see the tavern being renovated. Various trips depart from the refuge and alternatively it is possible to reach a lot of wonderful places in just a few minutes by car. I highly recommend La Carlina for a relaxing weekend in the mountains :)

19/08/2024: Beautiful stay, there is the possibility of having B&B or half board. The rooms are nice and very quiet. Excellent location. Super breakfast!!! Very friendly and helpful staff. We also had dinner and lunch at the nearby restaurant and it was all delicious. Congratulations to Roberta and all her staff!!

05/12/2024: A truly beautiful place, well designed, decorated with ancient tools and with lots of good taste. You eat and drink quality!!! Warm environment, so dress lightly under your jackets or coats 😁. I'll be back in a few days 😋 Thank you girls for your effort.

08/09/2024: We went to visit some friends by chance, I had never been to Val Maira and I must say a wonderful place and a helpful and very kind owner. We didn't eat there so I don't know but I think it's the mouse.
