07/08/2025: As an American living in France, I was thrilled to find somewhere that actually knows how to use a smoker! BarBees was a dream. The menu was amazing. We tried the mixed platter, the brisket, and the homemade hazelnut ice cream. It was the most beautiful marriage of American and Italian styles. You won’t regret it. Go.

28/07/2025: Must-visit in the Barolo!
A visit to the Barolo is not complete without having eaten at Trattoria in Piazza. The evening begins with the always welcoming Emanuela who is eager to talk about all the dishes with passion and love for her food. Her English is excellent, and her explanations all the more so. The atmosphere in the restaurant is intimate with a feeling like you are really coming into someone's home. For summer evenings, there is also a small terrace.
That said, the food is what makes Trattoria in Piazza so great. The food is delicious, traditional and made with love. For primi, the Agnolotti is highly recommended! Portions are good, making it easy to eat antipasti, primi, secondi and dessert. Allergies (such as nut allergies) are well catered for. Finally, the wine list is extensive and offers many local wines, such as Barolo, Arneis and Nas-cetta.
Reservations are recommended, but not required. For those not used to Italian dining times: dinner starts at 20:00.
25/05/2025: Emanuela la propiretaria si impegna per farti stare bene e ti trasmette la passione per il buon cibo.
Il locale è carino (personalmente cambierei i quadri) ma con acustica davvero pessima:si fa fatica a sentire i propri commendali, ma il cibo è davvero ottimo a prezzo molto bassi.
Ho mangiato troppo ed è un vero peccato perché il dessert prometteva davvero bene!
Consigliassimo soprattutto per la qualità-prezzo.

06/07/2025: I recently went to this charming bistro and left with a light heart and a smile on my face. From the first moment, the staff demonstrated an authentic and rare kindness: welcoming, helpful and always attentive without ever being intrusive.
The cordiality with which I was welcomed made the atmosphere extremely pleasant, like feeling like a guest in the home of thoughtful friends. Every gesture, every word, every smile was genuine and cared for, demonstrating an approach to the customer that goes beyond simple service.
It is not easy to find a place where professionalism marries so perfectly with humanity. Here, however, respect and courtesy were the absolute protagonists. I will definitely return, not only for the food (excellent!), but above all for the attention and human warmth that were dedicated to me.

04/07/2025: We were with our children we tried the tasting menu and it is really good. The Fassona tartare, and the pasta I found the best in the area

12/05/2025: Pranzo in famiglia, purtroppo non soddisfatto perché piatti scarsi,ci avevano detto che facevano cucina per vegani oltre la cucina normale, in realtà usano pochi ingredienti già confezionati, la responsabile poco professionale alle lamentele di mia moglie rispondeva ridendo in faccia, peccato perché il posto è bello ma è l' unica cosa di positivo.
