Epic dishes and unparalleled kindness.
A blast from the past when we locals used it as a pre-dinner drink.
Coming back after 20 years, I have to say that everything is as perfect as ever.
A little suggestion? Maybe change those cold lights and replace them with warmer ones to make the atmosphere less sterile.

09/11/2025: This spaghetti restaurant in Manera was a pleasant discovery. The place isn't very big, but the owner, even though we hadn't called ahead, managed to get us a meal. The appetizers are very generous. The real highlight, of course, are the first courses: a choice of penne, fusilli, and spaghetti, followed by agnolotti, gnocchi, and tagliatelle. But the gluten-free pasta is a must-have. Before choosing your sauces, you need to decide on your portion: regular (200g), small (100g), or generous (300g) for those who want to roll out the door. The sauces are varied: meat-based, fish-based, vegetarian, unusual, and creamy, all at more than fair prices. We tried the tagliatelle alla norma, the Aida gnocchi with stracchino, chopped pistachios, and gorgonzola, and the nocino agnolotti with fontina, chopped hazelnuts, cream, and tomato. Regular portions are already generous, delicious, and, above all, easy to digest! To round out our fabulous meal, we ordered a homemade cake called "nocciotella," made with sponge cake filled with hazelnut cream and hazelnuts, served warm. I love hazelnuts, and I can say it was amazing! Kudos to the service, delivered with simplicity and professionalism, making you feel at ease. Kudos to the friendliness, quality, helpfulness, and cleanliness. We'll definitely be back with friends, but this time we'll book ahead.

10/11/2025: Beautiful location in the Langhe, very attentive service, excellent lunch featuring local products.
Extensive wine list, especially local.
11/10/2025: had a tasting menu for 75.- EUR, on the expensive side for this region. The meal was disapointing in many aspects, it was not seasonal, and in gerneral of little taste, barilla pasta and much cream sauce. Pana Cotta was rather hard, served with basil ice cream and a sauce with tabasco.

01/05/2025: Locale semivuoto dove all' ingresso ci viene detto : abbiamo problemi in cucina ... Cominciamo bene e allora servite dei toast mi verrebbe da dire.... Aspettiamo una vita, niente menu' ... Per capire il menù mi alzo per guardare la lavagna , prezzi altissimi, servizio scarsissimo. Abbiamo preso un primo 12 € tajarin al ragu' , un' insalata che ci viene portata senza pane e senza grissini...Aspettiamo poi per il tagliere di formaggi per una persona almeno mezz'ora dopo che avevamo finito il primo. Acqua e mezzo litro di vino sfuso. Niente caffè e niente dolce , conto : 44 € in 2 e anche per pagare aspetto un quarto d'ora. Da evitare categoricamente ed ho tralasciato altri dettagli per non infierire troppo. Croce sopra. Fine.
