05/02/2026: What can I say, a unique experience with unique dishes. I chose the "percorsi" tasting menu. AMAZING. An experience you absolutely must do if you're in the area.
02/02/2026: The restaurant is surrounded by somewhat dilapidated buildings and trattoria-like signs that make you wonder if you're in the right place. Fortunately, once you're inside and savor their dishes, any doubts vanish, leaving room for the satisfaction of savoring high-quality cuisine.
Of the many Michelin-starred restaurants I've visited in Piedmont, this is certainly one of the best. Each dish was refined and well-crafted, never lacking in nonsense or neglecting flavors and textures.
The service was good but aseptic (just a quick briefing about the dish and off we went), a bit slow (we sat down at 1:00 PM, got up after 4:00 PM), and even the chef was glimpsed in the dining room for just 30 seconds to greet someone I believe was a regular.
So perhaps I missed the guidance during the tasting experience, but that's a very subjective factor.
The price was truly excellent.
Ultimately, this is a restaurant you absolutely must try. Highly recommended.

04/11/2025: It's beautiful and evocative. I give it a 4 because they didn't even want to make us coffee at the counter even though it's a bar-restaurant because we didn't have lunch there. We just wanted a coffee, even just at the counter, because we spent 6 hours at Burcina and it's the only bar in the whole park.
18/10/2025: A place with meticulous attention to detail, immersed in a priceless autumn atmosphere. The staff is young, friendly, and incredibly helpful—there's a truly wonderful energy!
The menu is seasonal and truly delicious, perfect even for vegetarians: out of three main courses, only one was meaty, so you can easily enjoy the entire tasting menu.
We ate outside, and it was wonderful—among the colors of the park and the aromas of the kitchen.
Plus, we went with our three Chihuahuas, and they were made very welcome! An experience to repeat 💛

Caffè Marco Deiro

23/01/2026: It's been years since I've been to Deiro for a good hot chocolate... I had it a few days ago, and it wasn't even close to the ones I remembered, uniquely dense. Now it's runny, like so many others...
As for the ambiance, despite the original furnishings, it could use a little updating, keeping with tradition but not smelling musty...
Disappointment
29/12/2025: We ordered some toasted sandwiches. After waiting about 30 minutes (while customers who had come in after us were being served) and repeated inquiries, they arrived cold. They looked like they'd just come off the supermarket shelf.
The price was truly exorbitant.

Trattoria Del Parco Della Burcina

08/11/2025: The park, owned by Unipol (and therefore not municipal), is very beautiful, and it's fortunate that it exists. However, on the west side (the side facing San Lazzaro), there are few trees; in the summer, you'll have to seek shelter under the few trees and bushes.
There are few trash cans, especially for dog owners; you'll need to carry your own waste bags for half the park. Or, as I unfortunately sometimes see, not using them at all :-(. Furthermore, the already few bins are not emptied frequently enough; see attached photo.
It's possible to create a circular route around Villa Cicogna, using the bike/pedestrian path. Unfortunately, there's no separate path for cyclists, forcing you to constantly dodge them. But, what can I say, everything can be improved, so for now, it's good that it exists.
I "downgraded" the rating because the property doesn't take sufficient care of maintenance. For example, some streetlights have been out for almost six months, and at certain times the nighttime lighting isn't working (e.g., Sept. 2025), and a reminder to the municipality is needed before anything is done.

26/04/2025: Situato in paesino vicino a Biella quando entri sembra di essere in un altra epoca...Cibo eccezionale servizio altrettanto magistralmente condotto da 2 sorelle simpatiche e professionali. Il menu varia ogni giorno, ottima qualità prezzo sui 40-50 a testa ma esperienza assolutamente da provare!
