28/07/2024: Excellent place in the center of Castel Rocchero. Typical Monferrato cuisine, every day offers a fair amount of choice. The various courses are illustrated by chef Maurizio. Abundant starters, high price. First courses prepared entirely by them, but I found that the flavor of the agnolotti seasoning (a very good sauce) clearly dominated that of the agnolotti, debasing the dish. The carpaccio, lean and at the exact point of cooking, had the same problem. The peach millefeuille is very good, as I had already seen in other reviews. It's not the classic millefeuille, but a clever reinterpretation (crumbled pastry, probably assembled on the spot, this guarantees that it's nice and crunchy). For a dinner, with a bottle of wine, leaving the table satisfied, but not burdened, we spent 200 euros.
