05/11/2024: Update 2024. At the beginning of October we were back in the Barolo area. So it was clear to us that we would plan a meal at Santisè on the return journey via Asti. The weather was a bit too cool for an outdoor lunch, but the interior is also very nicely decorated - somewhat Italian-rustic. As expected, the food was again excellent and the service was very friendly and personal. Another highlight was the “open red wine” that my wife ordered. She could choose, took the Barbera d'Asti Bricco dell Uccellone and was thrilled. The bottle from which the wine was served had an elaborate attachment that protected the wine from oxygen - very appropriate for this good wine. - Until the next trip to Piedmont! We were there for lunch in September 2022. Very nicely prepared and delicious food in a very pleasant atmosphere outside in the garden of the restaurant. We liked it so much that we stopped there again a week later on our way back.

02/02/2025: Nice genuine place near Calliano. Bagna cauda without garlic very good. Friendly owners, good food and wine. We will return to taste other specialties. Well done

02/02/2025: today bagna cauda of the blackbird... excellent service, very good bagna cauda and made in the traditional way!! assortment of raw and cooked vegetables with even poached egg to collect the bottom of the fujot tagliolini always seasoned with bagna cauda and then to degrease agnolottini in broth and to finish an excellent bunet. compliments to the kitchen 😊 highly recommended

03/09/2024: Great pizza chef, all very good, the choice of farinata is very particular, don't expect a mega restaurant but it's nice, it's exactly that, Mich and his wife are always kind and friendly
