04/07/2026: Today we had a family lunch, a lovely table for both adults and children, with plenty of options to suit everyone's needs and tastes—a huge plus. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, and the waitress was exquisite. The portions were generous, and always came with a second serving for those who wanted more. The mixed fried fish menu included a nice selection of hot and cold appetizers, all excellent, with authentic and genuine flavors. The mixed fried fish was exceptional. We traveled a long way to get here, but it was worth it! The hospitality and courtesy are a guarantee, just like the food. Kudos to the cleanliness of the bathrooms; it's not a given to find them clean and even equipped with a hygienic toilet seat. See you next time 😘

10/06/2026: I would really like to rate the place 5 stars. The place is stunning, a truly special castle in the middle of a crazy view, comfortable rooms and overall a truly unique experience that is second to none. On the other hand, in terms of service experience, unfortunately, they still have a lot to learn, and in terms of food, we paid for a chef's meal and all the dishes were inedible... There were renovations there at 6 am that disturbed our sleep and not even an employee was able to silence them so that they would at least start at a more reasonable time... In conclusion, I do really recommend it, but I would be happy if they changed the menu and improved the service experience a little, as befits a unique boutique hotel of this style 🙏🏽

Today, his 23-year-old grandson has already designed the winery you're visiting, and he cooks with the energy and cultural clarity of his home, having gained significant experience at the Mudec in Milan, one of Italy's international cultural centers. Lower Monferrato. Varengo, a hamlet of Gabiano. Hillside. A rare example of "family style and culture" that knows how to create refined cuisine. Perfect portions. A small wine cellar, but a place for meditation and a delight for the senses. The restaurant is by reservation only—or rather, "reservation"—and offers a highly personalized menu based on guest requests. The menu changes every three months. Refined local ingredients are used, including meat. Whipped maple butter, homemade bread, pretzels, spreadable gorgonzola, and the boiled meats with green sauce in a Chinese ravioli set us on a path to dinner. Innovative appetizers, and the first course, a beetroot and gorgonzola risotto, with rare flavor and balance. The second course's tender and flavorful diaphragm cooked on a silken potato. A genuine, artisanal, unfiltered Grignolino. A Catalan cream with a surprising flavor and color.
