09/02/2025: Premise: I don't like pizzas with high edges... obviously I completely changed my mind! Reason? Digestible, soft and above all tasty dough! Honest aroma of each ingredient and kindness of the staff! Passed with full marks! Well done, keep it up!

16/02/2025: I celebrated my birthday on Saturday. From the starter to the dessert everything was excellent, advised in choosing the menu by Mrs Sandra, the ladies who served the tables were very attentive, the tables were set with care and the place has its own charm. Thank you for your hospitality!

23/01/2025: During the Goldsmith Fair I booked a table for eight people at Trattoria Lovise. It is not a place that I frequent regularly, when I have guests from various parts of the world I tend to visit trattorias that still reflect the Vicenza traditions. I had guests from Asia, Lebanon, Dubai, Russian speakers and an Italian. We arrive at 7pm to avoid the rush hour crowds. The waiters ignore us for 30 minutes then a probably inexperienced girl takes the orders, sometimes verbally and sometimes writing down on a small notepad. Result? It took 2 hours to receive everything ordered, there were 3 appetizers, 7 or 8 first courses and a second course with side dish. The 2 tiramisu are loved served before the only second requested at least 6 times. 2 coffees served cold and not as ordered. We go to pay and the owner asks me what happened. I'll tell you how it happened, the simple truth. Generally, after 50 years of my freelance work and constant attendance at medium-high level restaurants, my negative feedback is analyzed and usually well accepted since those who work in the kitchen cannot know what is happening in the dining room. I am often thanked because I have contributed to improving the service. Not at Lovise. Woe betide you if you complain, not only did they not apologize. They treated me like a pain in the ass and a liar. I have seven people who will also want to publish their opinions. I won't set foot there again. Places managed like this are not for me. I sincerely hope I don't get any excuses because I don't accept them.
