15/01/2026: A fantastic restaurant in Malcesine. It might seem a bit touristy at first, but we ate there three times during our holiday. Always delicious. The service is outstanding; the waiters are all very friendly and funny. We felt very comfortable there and would definitely eat there again if we were ever in Malcesine again. A definite recommendation. Many thanks and greetings to the whole team :)

20/10/2025: Absolutely average food, nothing special. You can find equally good or better pizzas everywhere in Malcesine.
14/10/2025: Stayed here for a week. Perfect location and loved Malcesine. Staff from reception to restaurant all very friendly and helpful. The rooms as others mentioned are basic which was fine for us. Our room felt a bit cramped and shower cubicle was tiny. Rooms are super clean 👍, though some TLC is needed with decor and furniture. Great view from the balcony, spoilt by having noisy Aircon unit and pipes sat on the floor next to the table and some issue with a leaking pipe that seemed to have a towel wrapped around it. Ate in the restaurant twice, food was ok but nothing amazing, lack of atmosphere in the back room where we got put twice despite reserving a table in the front part. Preferred more interesting eats out in Malcesine. Breakfasts really good and lots of choice.

12/10/2025: We're served bottled tap water, treated with the Culligan system, at the "modest" price of €3.20! The bottle is clearly dirty inside. We ask for sealed bottled water and are told they only have that type of water. This alone would deserve a lower rating. The veranda overlooking the lake has a central iron band that effectively blocks the view. The male staff isn't friendly, and a few more smiles wouldn't hurt. The pizza (Neapolitan style) is good, and the food, overall, is good (which is what matters!).

24/02/2026: Expect seafood cuisine like our mothers and grandmothers used to prepare. Everything is truly delicious. The mussel soup is excellent. I'll be back soon. The staff is excellent and very friendly.

The staff is very friendly, it's a family business. We'll definitely be back, although not this year, as it's currently closed for the winter.

02/11/2025: We got the tip from a guidebook, but we were very impressed. The restaurant is almost directly on the lake, with a fantastic view and a wonderful atmosphere when the sun is shining.
The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, providing unobtrusive service.
23/10/2025: Closed. The information on Google Maps and their website isn't updated. Closed all day. There's no information even on the doors.
Their attitude toward people is disrespectful.

18/11/2025: My dad and I went to this restaurant on a November afternoon. All the other restaurants in the area were closed due to the off-season, so we decided to try this one, simply because it was open. We travel frequently and have tried many different restaurants and cuisines, and this is honestly one of the worst we've ever been to.
The man working there insisted the food was fresh, as if we couldn't tell the difference. Everything was completely bland. The raw salmon tasted like it had been defrosted after sitting in the freezer for too long. No amount of salt or pepper could cover the unmistakable aftertaste of low-quality ingredients. They even said they would close for the season in a few days and were out of stock on most of the menu items—so it's no surprise they weren't investing in fresh ingredients for their final days of opening.
Every single thing we ordered ranged from unpalatable to completely flavorless to bitter. But nothing was as bitter as the waiter's attitude. He was incredibly rude. When we went to pay, he handed us the bill without even looking at us—no words, no glances, not even the slightest gesture of kindness or respect. A truly cheerful guy who definitely enhanced the experience.
Don't set foot in this place unless your standards are really, really low.

I had the mascarpone e crudo pizza! It was fantastically good and huge!
The service was very friendly.
I'm still dreaming about this pizza and looking forward to my next visit.

27/07/2025: Das Restaurand ist sehr schön direkt am Wasser gelegen. Das Essen war ok, aber nichts besonderes. Bei der Abrechnung wurden wir jedoch eiskalt über den Tisch gezogen. Die Rechnungssumme wurde uns mündlich, aber sehr unverständlich genannt, wir haben mit Karte gezahlt und natürlich noch Trinkgeld in bar dazugegeben. Eine Rechnungsübersicht erhielten wir nicht. Bis wir feststellen, dass auf dem Zahlungsbeleg 60 € standen, wir jedoch deutlich unter 50 € als tatsächliche Rechnung gehabt hätten, war der junge Kellner schon wieder verschwunden. Also bitte Vorsicht bei der Abrechnung.
26/07/2025: Grande delusione x il nostro pranzo di gruppo..Peccato perché ci siamo sempre trovati bene ma questa volta proprio no. Concordo con le recensioni che mi hanno preceduto..Molto meglio la gestione precedente. Non lo consiglio
