21/12/2025: My rating for the restaurant may seem low, but it was intentionally given to arouse curiosity to understand the reason! In fact, I've been here before, and the only positive rating I can give is the consistently fresh and impeccable food.
Alas, however, I must admit that I've noticed the same flaws even after a long time between visits! In fact, the wait times between courses are like those at an old-fashioned wedding; everyone, including us, were visibly annoyed by the slowness.
The exact same thing happened when it came to the bill, thus fueling the impatience, dictated by
what I've said before.
Oh... one thing we noticed was the way they came to the table to show us the receipt with the total in euros for the fish selected before cooking (very sad).
Then, another sore point, the bill is always quite high in my opinion, and it really makes me want to never return. However, otherwise we spent an evening characterised by endless anticipation that left more of an impression on everyone's lips than the fish we ate.
13/10/2025: My experience at the restaurant was deeply disappointing.
The ambiance is certainly elegant and refined, and the service is impeccable. At the suggestion of others who had already been there, I ordered the raw fish selection, which tasted very good.
However, a few hours after leaving the restaurant, I developed symptoms such as severe cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea, which required medical attention to manage the severe symptoms (which were likely due to food poisoning). The main reason for my extremely poor rating is the handling of the complaint. Once I contacted the restaurant to report the situation, I received neither the necessary sympathy nor an admission of responsibility. Instead, the management attributed the discomfort to a pre-existing condition of mine, namely, high histamine levels, which, when raised by the raw fish, would have caused the symptoms. Despite explaining that I have eaten raw fish on several occasions without any side effects, they denied any connection with their product.
In a restaurant that advertises itself as specializing in fish and raw fish, food safety is an absolute requirement. I don't think it's acceptable to feel so ill after dining at a restaurant of this caliber, nor that the restaurant's management is so indifferent.
I hope this report leads to greater controls on food preservation. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against eating raw food at this restaurant.
