06/04/2024: Very beautiful and evocative environment, there is a beautiful window and in summer the environment outside certainly makes it.
The waiters were very kind right from the start.
We chose the seafood tasting in order to taste multiple courses.
All the dishes were interesting and well executed, a couple of critical points regarding the cooking of the octopus (chewy, but very well roasted) and the bisque (it didn't taste good, unfortunately it ruined the whole dish)
The dessert wasn't bad but the caramel was a little too forward and the ice cream didn't taste like much, but its function in the end was to give freshness and this it did.
A positive note is the wine list, very extensive and with several important choices.
All in all a wonderful experience, I felt very sorry for a waitress who unfortunately had no voice that evening, so she couldn't explain the dishes (in my opinion they could have sent someone else)
It's worth coming!

15/01/2024: Molto bella la location e si mangia anche molto bene. CI sono stata on delle amiche per un pranzo e ci sono tornata diverse volte con la mia famiglia, proprio perchè il posto e particolare e il cibo e ottimo.TOP!
22/12/2023: Posto magico e cucina molto buona. L'attesa può essere a volte un pò lunga ma la vista del fiume e del parco e gli ottimi piatti fanno dimenticare un eventuale disagio

07/04/2024: It's the best restaurant in Tirrenia!! The food is very good, it always offers excellent quality food and a very good menu suitable for everyone.
It offers 🍕 excellent pizza and the restaurant menu is also varied from starters to desserts, all very good.
The desserts are delicious and artistically presented, made with simple ingredients.
I recommend it to everyone!! children and adults top restaurant👍

04/04/2024: Me and my partner stayed here one night on the first of April which is a holiday in Italy. Our first impression was a very distracted receptionist who gave us wrong information stating the restaurant was open when it was closed.
The location for the hotel is good, 15-20 minute walk to the leaning tower of Pisa. The walk passes through a sad, dark, tunnel though.
This hotel is five stars, which brought up my expectations a lot, I see the potential but everything feels torn and not maintained.
The door handle comes of the door when closing, cracked plastic and bad caulk work on sockets and joints.
They provided towels, hygiene products for shower which was nice but no robe.
The rooms had nice TV, spacious rooms, good WiFi, mini-bar and safes which was all nice features. The breakfast was okay.
I would visit again if I come to Pisa, but keep your expectations down regarding the rating.

Everything but everything dirty and poorly maintained.
Carpet in the corridors filthy to say the least and worn. Filthy balcony. Tiny room, poorly made bed and without mattress cover. Bathroom full of mold and shower really embarrassing. Internal parking in a 5 star hotel 15 euros separately. Breakfast 20 euros each. I am speechless. I strongly advise against it

31/03/2024: Easter meal, fixed menu, with excellent tastings, both starters and first and second courses. Very good, well balanced flavors and presentation. Sweet ending. Portions more than sufficient, even abundant. All very good. Friendly and courteous staff. We recommend it

01/05/2024: Terrible service and equally bad food! we arrived (with a reservation for 6) and had to wait standing because none of the staff knew where our table was (despite there being a single table for 6 free). Not to mention the order...we waited an hour, if not more, for each course and when the starters arrived, one of them always had frozen mushrooms! The first ones were even worse, pasta with Chianina ragù was not ragù and was visibly raw as you can see in the photo! For the second course, however, meat was visibly cooked the day before and heated on the spot, bread that was supposed to be grilled arrived burnt black, when we pointed this out the waitress continued to argue by saying that the toasted bread should have looked like this!
Other tables pointed out errors in the dishes and general discontent with the wait and quality of the dishes!
End of the day total spend €210 and we left with a pit in our stomach!
AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

26/03/2024: I frequented this restaurant a couple of years ago, with my husband, everything was absolutely perfect. Chef Rossi is the Chagall of the dish. We are about to return after the Easter holidays.
25/03/2024: I can only speak well of the dream lived at Pepenero... A set of flavors to try and let yourself be pampered by the staff who are always attentive to every need... Thanks also to Gilberto Rossi

30/03/2024: Truly positive experience, the owners were friendly and very welcoming! I would say the service was excellent and fast! The food was top quality, we ate an excellent Tuscan soup, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, sliced meat with lard and roasted potatoes and finally an excellent Tuscan pecorino with honey!…Everything delicious and the price I would say is honest!
Highly recommended!

There are many places of absolutely superior quality with the same or even lower prices. Sorry, but this is not a place I would return to.

05/04/2024: We were there at Easter with a large group, the first at around 11:15 a.m. Very nicely received and quick order processing. Pizza and lasagne were very tasty. Only good things from the rest of the group too. Prices good. At around 1 p.m. the store was completely full with locals.
03/04/2024: The cacciucco is not bad, a generous and tasty portion.
Good service and quite fast, the place could be better valorised, so as not to be too anonymous.
Overall the opinion is positive
