10/06/2025: Locale suggerito dal titolare del b&b dove soggiornavamo: in effetti non è sulla via principale e anche la posizione è un po' nascosta, bisogna scendere alcuni gradini di un cortiletto, per cui l'ingresso non si affaccia direttamente sulla via.
Ci era stato detto che lo chef lavora solo pesce fresco, tant'è che se il pescatore di fiducia non gli porta nulla tiene chiuso.
Il locale è abbastanza piccolo, caratteristico, pareti in pietra.
La cucina è visibile entrando.
Menù alla lavagna, ovviamente secondo il pescato del giorno; proposte giuste, non numerose.
Abbiamo ordinato filetti di sauro alla griglia e una grigliata mista: ambedue cucinate alla perfezione e abbondanti (nel misto sogliola, calamaro eccellente, tonno in quantità).
Con calice di vino e caffè abbiamo speso 50 euro, decisamente meritati e comunque giusti.
Dovessi ripassare a Modica sarò senz'altro di nuovo da loro.

06/06/2025: I am not writing this review as a customer but as a worker because I worked for 1 month in this place as a dishwasher, a super negative experience, the chef named Luca is a terrible person, he thinks in his own way and if you have a problem he doesn't care, he kicks you out and doesn't want to know anything, so even if you have a fever of 40 or other types of unforeseen events you have to go to work, he is not an understanding person but the opposite and a person who only thinks about himself and at work you can even die, he doesn't care. So if you have to deal with this person, run away because you will have a bad time if you work there. Having said that, I am super happy to have left because in work there must be tranquility and respect which this individual absolutely does not have

12/06/2025: Dinner, nine of us, during a vacation. We start with a series of good and abundant seafood appetizers after which we are all full. Only three of us decide to try the spaghetti with clams: two portions for three. Then sorbet or dessert for eight. Then to the cashier. Surprise: bill 360.00 euros. "What 360 euros?" we ask. "Yes" replies the one who seems to be the boss, "you took the set menu that costs 40.00 euros per person."
" Excuse me, we ate appetizers for eight, only two first courses and the sorbet."
"Yes but since you started with the tastings we understood that you were choosing that menu..."
In short, there was no way to make it clear that in a restaurant you should pay for what you eat and not what the manager thinks you would like to eat. Our fault, first of all, because we should have called the finance police and asked for an inspection, but is it possible that now, wherever you go, you have to think about how to defend yourself because there is always someone trying to screw you?
11/06/2025: Good restaurant and pizzeria. You can try both meat and fish at honest prices. Possibility of outdoor seating in the garden. Courteous and helpful service. If you pass by those parts it is worth the stop

11/05/2025: Hey guys think twice today I had lunch here with two of us one had the octopus salad and one the spaghetti with clams (8 clams in number) Overcooked and they didn't taste like anything then the 2 fried dishes we never talk about I ate such a bad fried dish with only 11 rings and shelled prawns they didn't know anything about the price? Only with water €70 for how I ate a lot

12/05/2025: Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Il posto è bello, ma il cibo è nella media. I bicchieri non erano molto pulito impolverati e in uno c era la ragnatela.. magari non si sono accorti e non li hanno lavati bene. Chissà può succedere.!! Per il resto come ho detto prima bella media.

26/05/2025: Ho fatto tanta strada e con prenotazione per sedermi ad un tavolo di questo ristorante fronte mare in quel di Marina di Modica per verificare le tante recensioni positive ma che ho trovato per nulla speciale.
Inizio col dire che il ristorante è coevo al lido e ha una sola sala anche se abbastanza grande e certamente panoramica per la bellezza della spiaggia e mare a pochi passi. Pertanto non aspettatevi un locale dove ci si può accomodare con un minimo di privacy e soprattutto di tranquillità acustica. Le toilette sono quelle del lido realizzate in un prefabbricato e quindi ai minimi termini e con l'inconveniente di non avere fazzoletti o asciugatori per le mani. Lo scrivo perché ritengo che una recensione deve essere realistica su tutti gli elementi oggetto di valutazione e non certo per il gusto di uno o più piatti. A tal proposito sottolineo la impossibilità di scansionare il QR per leggere il menù in quanto illeggibile e non è successo solo al nostro tavolo . A pranzo ci sono solo due orari di presentazione:12,30 o 14,00 .
Giusto per organizzare la sala ma l'altezza del servizio ai tavoli è solo formale e non certo brilla per calorosa accoglienza e assistenza.
Ottime le materie prime ma nulla di sconvolgente per i piatti, che vedrete in foto, ordinati .
Costo finale 128,00 euro per due persone per due antipasti , porzioni mini, uno spaghettone al gambero, una occhiata ai ferri (90 euro al kg), un calice di bianco, un'acqua e coperto.
