12/11/2024: Fantastic location, especially in the spring summer period where you can enjoy a wonderful view in Piazza Castello. Very fresh fish and cooked to perfection. You have the possibility to personally choose the fish you want to eat from the catch of the day. Salt cooking is highly recommended.

15/10/2024: The food was delicious, but unfortunately the service was rather unfriendly. The place right next to the Castello is nice to sit, but the service dampened our mood a bit.

06/08/2024: The beef was absolutely delicious, and the spaghetti was just as tasty. The service is impeccable, with very friendly and courteous staff. However, the ambiance leaves something to be desired, lacking life and atmosphere.

29/06/2024: I agree with the most recent reviews....Il Timo deserves a better rating. The service was exceptional, the food was top, and the atmosphere, enjoyable. Instead of driving to a restaurant, stick to Il Timo and take the 20-30 minutes you would be using to find parking to enjoy a relaxing aperitivo! Definitely recommended!

06/11/2024: Stopped for lunch, out of season, perfect spot. Glass of wine and generous servings. I had the Parma ham and buffalo mozzarella, followed by spaghetti vongole (clams). Great value, very tasty. Recommend.

01/11/2024: This place deserves more than an average of 3 out of 5! Went here for a drink, ended up staying for 4 hours, enjoyed drinks and food. The atmosphere was amazing, very welcoming and attentive. Family/ friends feeling - accommodating to small or large parties. Food was great, chips were a highlight! Wine and spritzers went down well! Lovely, definitely recommend!

30/08/2024: I was intrigued by the location which was wonderful. Unfortunately I took a grilled swordfish which didn't make any sense, very grilled on one side and seared on the other dry, dry, all with a side of mixed salad. Finally, they are so attentive to their customers that even though we are in Catania and they don't know how to grill a swordfish, having only one table in the room, they made me pay 5 euros for the side dish and 2 forkfuls of salad. I forgot their slogan and life is too beautiful. to eat badly. Catering is a serious thing, Bar boys.
