26/06/2026: Our experience here was wonderful. In the first place, I loved the designed, with old objects, the place was classic and with personality, which made the whole experience even more special. We ordered the tasting menu with meat and it was a very good decision. The appetizers were my favourites, especially the beef tartare.
For dessert, the menu said we would have tiramisu, but we were pleasantly surprised that more came. The service was impeccable, from the fact that at the beginning they served us with some local snacks, to the fact that the waiter was very careful with everything. It is an ideal place for those who appreciate peace, quality and places with personality, perfect for a romantic dinner.

The atmosphere is cozy and elegantly decorated. Each dish was a discovery, with original and surprising flavors. The service was increasingly cordial and friendly. Everything was perfect!!

28/05/2026: Pasquale was incredibly kind and recommended some truly delicious local dishes: gratinated mussels, unforgettable grouper paccheri, and seafood cavatelli! Not to mention the warm heart tart... the price was right for the quality!

14/07/2026: Excellent value for money! Friendly and quick, despite the restaurant being packed! For starters, we had fried octopus, followed by a truly spectacular mixed grill: swordfish steak, a prawn, a cuttlefish, and a whole octopus; the only flaw was the lack of a bluefish. The grilled vegetables were plentiful and well-grilled (usually they only serve a few, and sometimes even half raw!!).
The pizza was also very good.
08/07/2026: Honestly, I don't understand who gave one star. I come from Abruzzo, from the Trabocchi coast, a unique place in the world, and trust me, if you're passing through, it's a must-see.

18/07/2026: Getting away from the hustle and bustle to eat in a traditional and welcoming place like this is definitely worth it!
EXCELLENT value for money, but above all, finding traditional dishes and local people (not everything commercial and advertised in the window) makes you savor the true value of this place :)

28/06/2026: We stayed in the B&B, so I can't comment on the food. The rooms were very nice and comfortable; the owners were very kind and brought us delicious croissants and tarts every morning. It was truly a delightful place. One small flaw in our room was the shower head, which didn't work. I'd just add that we booked several rooms because we had a lot of friends, especially one couple who booked a double room separate from the rest of the rooms. They weren't particularly happy with that room; there were several issues, so if you're having trouble, I recommend just making sure your rooms are all close to each other.

07/05/2026: The appetizers were generous. We had pizza and pasta, which were very fresh and delicious. Anthonio speaks a little French, which made it easier to get menu recommendations. The friendliness, service, and welcome were all excellent. We had a wonderful time!
03/05/2026: I visited Alta Marea Lab in Villanova (Ostuni) and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
I ordered an Angus tagliata, expecting the classic preparation: a whole cut of Angus beef cooked properly and sliced into even pieces. Instead, it was served as small, irregular strips, more like “straccetti,” with no proper presentation and not representative of what a tagliata should be. Having traveled extensively, this is the first time I’ve seen it served this way.
Overall, disappointing. The ingredients may have potential, but they are not handled or presented with the care you would expect.

Under the direction of Mrs. Patrizia everything moved perfectly, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, everything was very fresh.

05/10/2024: 18th birthday party, fantastic location under the walls of the historic center of Ostuni. Professionalism, seriousness and competence characterize the entire staff. Rich menu, all fresh and of high quality, excellent management of the courses also considering the number of guests (approximately 80 people). Perfect and highly recommended!

06/05/2025: Je geraakt er door de kleine straatjes van Ostuni. Super goed gegeten in dit kleine, gezellige restaurant. Mega vriendelijke bediening door Rosetta en Rosa. Elke tafel kreeg een brede glimlach en een uitleg in het Italiaans, Engels of Frans. Betaalbare kaart voor elk wat wils, de wijn zou iets goedkoper mogen. Water is San Pelegrino en Soda stream toestanden zoals je steeds meer in restaurants vindt. Doe zo verder!
06/05/2025: Very good service, excellent waitress, good food, a restaurant worth coming back to. There was no need for reservation at this time of year.

05/05/2025: Sinceramente la cucina è stata ottima. Però abbiamo pagato un conto salatissimo...4 euro di coperto a testa...in più i camerieri avevano fretta di sparecchiare...i piatti erano ruvidi...la pasta servita su un piatto piatto...
01/05/2025: Se amate il pesce e cercate un ristorante autentico dove respirare l’anima del mare pugliese, *Il Pescatore* a Villanova di Ostuni è una tappa obbligata! Abbiamo cenato in riva al porto, accolti da un’atmosfera rilassante e romantica, perfetta per godersi ogni portata con calma.
Il pesce è semplicemente spettacolare: crudi freschissimi, antipasti ricchi e creativi, primi da sogno (gli spaghetti ai ricci e i paccheri ai gamberoni con granella di pistacchio sono imperdibili!). Ottimi anche i secondi, cucinati con attenzione e rispetto per la materia prima. Porzioni generose, qualità altissima e una carta dei vini ben curata.
Il servizio è attento e cordiale: lo staff ci ha guidati nella scelta dei piatti con grande competenza e simpatia. Prezzi assolutamente adeguati alla qualità e all’esperienza complessiva.
Un luogo che resta nel cuore. Torneremo sicuramente!
