16/08/2024: Very large restaurant and pleasant environment! I was particularly struck by the bathroom due to its size and cleanliness. Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, however, my culinary expectations were not satisfied... Starters of medium-low quality and not satisfactory in quantity. I tasted two different first courses with excellent pasta cooking but not particularly tasty: chitarrina with clams and cavatelli with seafood... At the chitarrina you couldn't taste the clams even though they were present in good quantities. The cavatelli was dominated by the taste of calamari which was abundant. The prices do not correspond to the quality offered.

25/08/2024: Excellent food, excellent service, speed and courtesy, perfect value for money. Worth visiting if you are in the area.

20/08/2024: Classic Trattoria for Truckers, very Spartan, food within the norm, the only flaw is that the prices have risen a lot in the last period due to the quality that is offered!

25/08/2024: Il posto è bellissimo, assolutamente nulla da dire, forse il più bello d'Isernia. Sono stato qui molte volte. Pizza qualità media. Carne eccellente, tra le migliori della zona a un prezzo giusto. Baccalà super, consiglio all'isernina. Primi piatti buonissimi. Peccato che ora fanno solo un panino, prima nel menu avevano più scelta di panini. Servizio carente, una pecca, ma migliorabile, sono distratti e per il livello del locale non va. Se non aumenta i prezzi e continua ad avere questa qualità, il servizio mediocre passa inosservato. Comunque rivengo sempre con piacere

20/08/2024: Mai stato ad Isernia, e mai stato in questo caratteristico e storico locale. Corridoi e sale ovunque, magnifico, tutto nella pietra. Mi hanno parlato, altri ospiti, di un magnifico giardino ma avendo piovuto nel pomeriggio non ci si poteva stare, sarà per la prossima volta. Buonissima la pizza, mia moglie che è celiaca finalmente ha trovato la “sua pizza”. Cordiali già dalla telefonata per la prenotazione, che consiglio vivamente di fare. Ieri ed era lunedì, locale strapieno, Vi erano moltissimi locali e tanti come noi, semplici turisti, ciò vorrà pur dire qualcosa. Il signor Antimo, proprietario, gentile e cortese. Ho visto l’esposizione delle carni, mangerò la brace la prossima volta; fornitissima la cantina, vini regionali dei migliori 👏👏. Prezzi più che normali, anzi, oserei da normali a bassi. In 4, e mangiato 5 pizze di cui celiaca, birra Coca-Cola e acque, solo € 63,00. Eccellente 💪 Davvero da ritornarci e assolutamente da consigliare.

23/08/2024: An experience to forget, very slow service, we ordered as starters, a plate of raw, one cold and one hot. After an hour the cold ones arrive (some samples) and a plate of carpaccio that we didn't order. We ask for explanations and the very kind waitress tells us that the raw meats are finished and they were offering the carpaccio to us. After some more time, the "caldi" arrive, which in the plural is "caldi", and remain only on the menu. These are octopus stewed on pea cream, 2 small pieces. We ask why the hot dishes were all there and the same kind waitress tells us that it is the owner's choice and that it should be explained when ordering. Nothing to say about the first courses, the fried calamari is a little poor, but of good quality. We have been going to this place for years and have always appreciated it, but this time we noticed a less serious attitude, almost a tendency to make fun of the customer.

20/08/2024: Biblical times for service. Dishes cooked poorly and although the restaurant is located in a seaside location, the quality of the raw materials is decidedly questionable. while ordering a first course (a little fish with seafood), I found a pile of overcooked pasta drowned in the insipid fish broth. the second course, a fried fish with baked potatoes, arrived essentially as if it were a single portion divided for two people. The baked potatoes followed the same division and were also raw and soaked in oil. 42.00 euros per person for this treatment does not seem like a fair price to me. Only the service of the young boy in the room was satisfactory. Not recommended.

25/08/2024: Abundant, good quality, tasty dishes. Fair price. Good service. In our opinion penalized by the location. Our advice is to renew the furnishings, even if we really appreciated the fabric table linen. Termoli's paintings are very beautiful. We ate there 2 evenings in a row, ordering different courses always based on fish. We recommend it.

22/08/2024: we found ourselves by chance on August 18th, to eat something after a long journey. We order two first courses and three second courses... after more than an hour of waiting, two miserable first courses arrive, separate from the second courses ordered for two other people... (basically my sister and I watched our parents eat). after further waiting, our second courses arrive... we both ordered two grilled steaks and a slice of beef arrived divided in two, dry, without salt. we also order two plates of green salad and a shredded salad leaf arrives with a salt bath. Really high price for non-existent portions, terrible service. Two families left because they were careless in soliciting the flow that never arrived. Finally, people they met and treated very well, served directly by the chef, with super abundant dishes. I'm really disgusted by it.

23/08/2024: Avoid the board the seagull to eat very cheap and the price decidedly high for the extra seat made fun of by the owner making me drink an amarone grappa telling me this grappa is good instead inside I think there was gentian or amaro del capo..... I don't know why you treat a tourist like this

15/08/2024: Stupenda location tra il rustico e l'elegante. Ci si arriva percorrendo splendidi vicoletti stretti e caratteristici. La cucina è ovviamente locale e spazia tra terra e mare. Pur essendo San Martino in Pensilis paese di montagna, il mare è a venti minuti, quindi si trova sempre pesce fresco. Qui ho preferito la carne alla brace, fantastica, e la pampanella, tipica del luogo. Simpaticissimi tutti i lavoratori ai tavoli, compreso il titolare un vero chef di lusso. Buono il vino e buono il conto.

07/07/2024: Terrible place, we waited for 50 minutes without any food arriving. Disorganized staff waiting that long for a salad is unacceptable. There is better in Termoli, go elsewhere!

21/08/2024: I am writing the same following a stay that I really cannot explain and understand the reason for everything. I enter the structure with my family and we start looking for the reception (lack of indications), after a while we manage to meet the owner who tells us that he doesn't deal with this kind of thing, that is, the reception of guests. guests. We are given the key to the room and we discover with amazement that we are practically housed in an attic/cell of missionary fathers. Spartan environment to say the least, the climate was only present in the adults' room while it was not present in the children's room and the door could not be left open as the glass door let the light shine through. Then abandoned to our fate, without knowing whether we could request a bottle of water, whether we could have breakfast or not (which I was assured in the emails for the quote), positive aspects, use of the swimming pool (obviously without the presence of staff), the bathroom was new and functional but that's all. Bedroom without lamps, a bedside table, power sockets on the opposite side and let's not talk about the wardrobes... I only wonder one thing: Why do they allow these things? If you can't have a hotel you don't have one, period. I understand that people must be autonomous but this seems too much to me, let's all calm down otherwise everything will collapse, also because the gentlemen were paid handsomely and I'll stop here... ours is a constructive criticism. P.s. "Charioteer" room, not even the whip had anything to do with it, let alone the horses.

15/08/2024: For mid-August we booked with a fixed menu. I find the price too high in relation to what is offered. We had lunch outside without any choice and it was really too hot. The service was disorganized and confusing. The only positive note is drinks of all kinds included and bottled wine.

11/08/2024: The pizza is also tasty and prepared with good quality ingredients, but unfortunately the size is really small. Not only mine, but all the pizzas served were of this size, which may be suitable for children but definitely insufficient for an adult. The organization leaves something to be desired: there were few waiters, visibly tired as the staff is undersized compared to the number of customers present. Furthermore, order management was chaotic, with some orders even being taken from memory.

15/08/2024: Ottimo pranzo di Ferragosto passato in famiglia. La frittura di calamari più buona di sempre, con la giusta quantità d'olio. Per il resto tutti gli altri piatti sono altrettanto buoni. Lo consiglio!

04/08/2024: “La pizza sarebbe anche buona”. Lo si mormora a malincuore, dopo un'attesa di quasi tre ore e un conto di € 20,50 che non è nemmeno stato arrotondato per scusarsi del pessimo servizio. I titolari si sono giustificati dicendo che non era una serata come le altre, bensì un giorno di festa. Evidentemente mancano i mezzi per garantire duecento coperti. Più cura e meno avidità gioverebbero. Non tornerò più.

28/11/2024: Peggior locale in cui sia mai stato, considerando che vado a cena due tre volte la settima al ristorante, non c’è niente per cui possa esprimere un parere positivo! Destinato a chiudere e speriamo lo facciano presto hanno rovinato il nome di un ristorante storico campobassano, 70 € a persona e siamo usciti a digiuno!!!

20/11/2024: Ristorante pessimo, servizio da dilettanti, qualità scarsa dei prodotti. L’odore di sporco prevale come accoglienza per poi uscire pagando un coperto 3 euro , una bottiglia di acqua naturale 4 euro, un menù ingannevole poco chiaro per pagare un misero rombo 40 euro. Evitate tale oscenità , poi abbiamo capito perché di mercoledì sera eravamo i soli nel locale (unici fessi ) a non aver letto prima le recensioni pessime.

27/07/2024: titolo: CI VUOLE UN RIPASSO DEL BONTON Ristorante proveniente dal MEDIOEVO. Non giudico le pietanze ma il trattamento. Arriviamo in 7 persone, volevamo sederci e mangiare (avevamo prenotato per 10) ci dicono che non possiamo mangiare perché dovevamo aspettare le altre 3 persone. Queste 3 persone sarebbero arrivate dopo mezz’ora. Perciò questi signori dovrebbero imparare oltre che cucinare (buono) ad essere gentili ed ospitali. Esperienza negativa.

04/04/2024: Sono stato a pranzo.............ho mangiato spaghetti alle vongole e frittura mista prodotti di altissima qualità cucinati in modo egreggio, per non parlare dell' accoglienza della cordialità che la fanno da padrona. Ci ritornerò di sicuro

12/06/2024: Abbiamo mangiato del pesce freschissimo con una zuppa in tegami senza fondo. Tanto buon pesce veramente eccezionale. Anche solo per la zuppa ci torneremo.

07/04/2024: Personale gentile e disponibile. Tempi lunghissimi tra una portata ed un'altra. Piatti che non hanno più lo stesso appeal di qualche anno fa. Poco saporiti ed onestamente poco piacevoli. Costi sproporzionati rispetto alla qualità e quantità. Temo che non tornerò mai più.
