02/06/2026: A Michelin-starred restaurant that never disappoints. Cuisine made with excellent ingredients, revisited to offer diners a different experience. The dishes are beautifully presented, with surprising and thoughtful details. The location is definitely romantic and evocative. They will pamper your body and soul. No dress code required, but don't wear slippers or a tank top! Excellent, delicious, and welcoming.

15/12/2025: Very nice place, impeccable service! The waiter is really kind, helpful, and professional. The food is very good, but some of the appetizers, in my opinion, lack character. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. I'll definitely be back.
14/12/2025: First time at this place, found and booked with The Fork.
Really good food, two cold appetizers (four tastings), tuna steak with baked vegetables, and baked sea bream with potatoes.
All accompanied by excellent local passerina.
Very fresh fish, balanced flavors, and top-notch service.
Fair price for the quality and location.
An experience to repeat, well done! 👏

18/06/2026: We ate very well, on a cool veranda overlooking the sea, the waiter was highly professional, and the quality/price ratio was excellent.
02/06/2026: The food is excellent; every seafood dish is a discovery, a journey to be enjoyed with both eyes and palate.
The service is impeccable, the courtesy and kindness are always there, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.
I recommend L'Ancora to all lovers of good seafood looking for the perfect place.

29/03/2026: We had lunch at Ristorante Viareggio and the experience was excellent. The location is fantastic, right on the beach.
The fish is incredibly fresh and carefully prepared: we tried the appetizers, the first courses, and the dessert and were truly satisfied. The value for money was also excellent.
The owner is truly friendly, kind, and helpful. He also loves dogs; we had a German Shepherd-like dog with us, and there were no problems at all.
If you're looking for a place to eat excellent fish in Grottammare without too many frills but with plenty of substance, Viareggio is a guarantee. We'll definitely be back!

04/07/2026: Extremely slow service. More than half an hour for a plate of spaghetti with clams.
30/06/2026: While passing through Grottammare, we had dinner at this little restaurant across the street from the hotel where we were staying. The owner was very kind and helpful, and managed to get us a table even though we hadn't booked. We had seafood salad, spaghetti with seafood, and mixed grilled fish. It was good, but there's always room for improvement. The wait staff was a bit inexperienced. Prices were moderately high for the quality.

07/06/2026: We spent 8+ hours here on a Sunday in early June. We rented an umbrella/chairs, ate lunch, had drinks, and ice cream all day. We snorkeled along the rocks and saw 10-12 kinds of fish and crabs. Andre was amazing and made us feel at home they let us open a tab and settle up at the end of the day. We ate the “boneless fish” it was fried shrimp, calamari and potatoes, we also had the clam spaghetti and French fries for lunch they were perfect after snorkeling and laying in the sun. 10/10 we will be back here again! Thank you Andre and the rest of the staff.

11/04/2026: ...not a very happy experience...paid a considerable amount for an entree that consisted of a mini dish with a breaded anchovy inside...a seared tuna, a paltry grill, with company-cafeteria-style baked potatoes...service needs reviewing. Disappointed.

09/06/2026: We stayed at Chalet Ciaschì in Grottammare and appreciated the choice between three different menus, catering to different tastes and needs.
The fish was fresh and well-cooked. The typical dish of cazzole and melecche was very good, definitely a specialty worth trying, although the portions seemed a bit limited.
The portions overall weren't particularly large, but they weren't small either: I'd say they were just the right amount. The service was courteous and there was no long wait.
The atmosphere is rather small and simple, but welcoming. Overall, a good experience for those looking for fresh fish and traditional local dishes.
