The staff is very kind and attentive.
If you're looking for an outdoor seating area, this restaurant is the place to be.

After having a phone call and 2 texts from the owner since we have returned to the UK trying to get me to remove my review comments Iv now given it 1star not 2 !!! Called me a liar and apparently I was sitting in doors on the best table ? Pics tell another story
Review -
Our visit to the restaurant (not hotel) was quite an experience. Thunderstorms and heavy rain was forecast for the evening and all night so were a bit surprised when we were seated right next to the waters edge and not under a canopy as the clouds were already on us . Waited 10 mins for a menu although only a handful of people were there being seated (also on the outer edge) .
Was finally asked if we wanted an aperitif and given the menus . The prices for food are very reasonable and range from €18-€30 which we thought was very good for the quality of food . However after asking for the wine list after ordering the food (wasn’t shown one before ) we were presented with an iPad that had about 15 red wines on it that ranged from €50 - €360 !!
Wasn’t expecting to spend such an amount on a drink when the food wasn’t in that price bracket and neither did the hotel look it (3 stars)
After basically telling him we didnt want any wine his whole attitude to us seemed to change and rest of the evening felt awkward.
The actual young waiter who did serve us food etc and clear the tables was fantastic however .
Chaos came when the heavens opened up and
Everyone (about 6 tables in all) suddenly needed to be moved under shelter . Headless chickens came to mind as the “big chiefs” moved plates
, cutlery etc around onto tables they had for some reason only 10 minutes before cleared off .
Anyway to sum it up , very good food for price but expect to be ignored and treated differently by some staff if you are not spending €100 on a bottle of wine .

05/05/2025: Siamo venuti in questo meraviglioso ristorante sotto suggerimento di una nostra cara amica, così da poter festeggiare al meglio il nostro anniversario.
Location con vista spettacolare e qualità del cibo eccelsa! Ma quello che ci ha colpito indubbiamente di più è l'accuratezza nei confronti del cliente, poche volte ci siamo sentiti così coccolati neanche in quelli più lussuosi si trova sempre questo alto livello.
Quindi vogliamo fare i nostri più sentiti complimenti a tutto il personale, grazie per aver reso il nostro giorno ancora più speciale.

02/05/2025: Da sempre e’ tra i ristoranti scelti con la famiglia e gli amici, per le nostre uscite a pranzo, cena e per le occasioni speciali . Il ristorante ha grandi finestre in prima fila sul secondo romantico bacino del lago di Como, in località Torno. La cucina propone ottimi menu settimanali, una carta con piatti di stagione e ricette locali sia di carne che di pesce sempre cucinati con la nostra massima soddisfazione . Ottimi vini, e liquori consigliati con la giusta competenza . Alla sera hanno creato una nuova atmosfera (molto apprezzata), unica e romantica con luci sui tavoli e un piacevole sottofondo musicale. Sono tutti svelti, attenti e pronti ad offrire il buon servizio …👏, ti fanno sentire così bene che restiamo sempre più a lungo del previsto. Prezzi giusti, cani ammessi ma meglio prenotare in anticipo. Bravi e complimenti siete ottimi “padroni di casa” .
